personality; hisoki is a clever individual despite the childish front he puts up. being a rather playful person
usually throws others off and makes it hard to believe his status as an international police member. this whole
act is how he is able to gain others trust and gather information for his job. this playfulness isn't used to entirely
deceive though. hisoki generally is a light hearted individual, but he is also rather cunning and knows he has
work that needs to be done. he understands his role and knows he has to be serious at times and he can't always
act like a child. when he does get serious though, it becomes more obvious why he was chosen to do what he
does. he is a strong individual and well versed in battle situations. his ability to read a situation and adapt on the
fly is second to none, proving that he pays more attention than he lets on. often hisoki seems aloof and distant
but it is quite the contrary. most people struggle to get a good read on him and he isn't afraid of acting in a
sporadic manner in order to throw others off and make his own actions even more unpredictable. he loves to
make others work and test their skills against himself. he is difficult to intimidate or shake up. if anything hisoki
is a confident individual underneath his childish demeanor. his confidence isn't misplaced and he can back it up
more times than not. it isn't rare for this side of him to show up when he must protect others or he has someone
backed into a corner. overall, hisoki is a man who means well to those who aren't on the wrong side of the law.
he is someone who either is loved or very much disliked. there is no real in between.

other; -originally from sinnoh. this was where he was trained as part of the international police, but
has traveled to most of the regions to do some kind of work
-he is well versed in knowledge despite coming off as a bit of an idiot. while he would make a good teacher, he
actually sucks at the teaching part
-he wears a mask to cover his eyes. he does this because of his overly sensitive eyes and because it makes it hard
for others to get a read on his expressions since eyes usually give a lot away. he could wear tinted glasses instead,
but this second reason is why he doesn't
-because of his mask, people often think he is blind, which isn't the case at all. he can still see through it

personality;; athena is a woman of vast knowledge which in turn gives her a bit of a superiority complex. she sees herself as above others and while she seems kind and approachable at first, she is easily irritable. she cannot stand stupidity of any sort and often distances herself from those she deems not to her standards in intelligence. despite this major flaw in her personality, athena still is a caring woman when given time to warm up. she doesn't just act nice for show. even so, she is rough around the edges and will stand up for herself if she must, though she rather settle matters with her brain than raw strength since she is lacking in the latter of the two. given how she acts, it can be a surprise by how adored she is by others, but she does try to uphold her public image. when one is able to get past her prissy attitude, athena actually is a big softie and rather easy to get along with, but she still does judge others on their knowledge no matter how close she might be with them. she is not afraid to call others out or go against them if she deems their ideas beneath her. impressing her is rather difficult, but not impossible. she may be a tough one to crack but by no means does she wish to be alone thus knows she must let some be close.

weapons; nieven struggles to use weapons thanks to being forced to wear a mask over his eyes, but he
still carries a bow and dagger with him. despite having limited sight, he relies heavily on his sense
of hearing to use his bow properly and has decent aim despite his circumstances. while not the
most skilled bowsmen, he still can hit crucial shots when needed. as for his dagger, he uses it for
close range combat in order to protect himself, though he is quite adept in hand-to-hand combat
and doesn't really need a dagger.
abilities; cursed sight - an unwanted magical ability that nieven was cursed with as a child. this curse
is very potent and forces him to keep his eyes covered to avoid activating it on accident. it allows
him to momentarily freeze his target before forcing them to either face illusionary versions of
their own fears or darkest memories. as a side effect, he too is forced to see said illusion occur.
in order to trigger his curse, he first must make direct eye contact with his target and maintain
his vision on them to keep them under it. the longer he holds his curse, the more strain it puts
on him both physically and emotionally, thus he hardly uses it for extended periods of time to
avoid harming himself. his effects do last a minute after he does break his sight from his target
and he is limited to only having two under his curse at a time. on monsters, the effects are
slightly different. instead of forcing out bad memories or fears, he is able to take control over
them and use them to fight for him. this is possible given his curses connection to the guardians
themselves. the same conditions still stand when it comes to monsters as it does others- he must
keep his sight on them after casting said curse and he can only control two at one given time.
this curse also has the effect of making him unable to learn any form of magic.
enhanced hearing - due to his elven heritage, his hearing is above average, although not
on superhuman levels. he can hear more than the average human can and hear thing from further
distances. his hearing does continue to improve the less and less he uses his sight though.
hand-to-hand combat - despite seeming like the type that would struggle in combat overall,
nieven is highly athletic and excels in hand-to-hand combat, even with the disadvantage of his
mask. his close quarter combat is on a whole other level and shows he put much time into it. this
is thanks to his sister training him and allowing him to train against her. if things do get too rough
he does opt to take his mask off to fight, despite the risk of his curse triggering.

personality; nieven is a strange individual who often is aloof from the world around him. he's softspoken
and tends to keep to himself. his introverted tendencies stem from the effects his curse has had upon him.
emotionally, he struggles to convey himself, but his resolve is strong. it is difficult for him to keep his
feelings in check, yet he doesn't want others to see him in pain. those that know the true nature of his
curse understand the psychological pain that is cast upon him, but even when they try to help him, he will
push them away. he acts as if he doesn't need to talk to others about his feelings and keeps them bottled
up. he is able to keep his feelings bottled up for only so long before he just let's them all out and is a huge
wreck. usually he becomes a sobbing mess, but there are times where his anger becomes the strongest
emotion and he will take it out on the closest person. he hates that he is like this, yet he cannot change it
unless he refuses to use his curse. as much as he would love to do that, he also has his own aspirations. he
wants to free himself from it. he desires to stop the guardians to save himself even if it he must take on the
pain of others. nieven has a surprisingly noble heart though his ideals don't always come across that way.
when he does decide to interact with others, he can be rather harsh. he has a hard time allowing people to
get close to him and is afraid that he'll simply end up hurting them. he tends to try and scare people off in
order to "defend" himself, but it doesn't always work. underneath the cold facade he puts forth, he is a
lonely boy whom actually likes the companionship of others. he hates to admit it though. to those that do
manage to break through this fake front, he offers a softness that seems unfitting for him to give. he may
not be the most social towards them still, but he will still do most things with them and sometimes he will
open up to them about the struggles he is going through. he sees his allies and formerly his sister as his
emotional anchors. under his emotional mess, he is a rather intelligent young man.

other; -was cursed by a follower of the tothana guardian when he was a child. this curse caused him
and his twin sister to be seen as threats to their village and they were outcasted

weapons; yldrir wields no weapons, though she is highly skilled with polearm-like weapons. however, it
has been a long time since she has actually carried one on her being and opts to rely more on her magic
and other abilities.
abilities; dragon transformation - an ability she gained long ago in order to blend in among humans
and other races. this ability allows her to transform into her true dragon form and use its strength to win
battles. in this form, she becomes much larger, and gains the ability to fly alongside becoming more
durable. she is unable to transform if her tiara/headwear is taken from her given that is where she has
chosen to store her dragon powers. her dragon form does tire her the longer she decides to use it since
she has chosen to store it, making her only able to use it every so often. overuse will force her into a
long slumber.
light breath - as a former divine dragon, her breath in this form is a powerful light magic rather than the standard
fire. despite having a strong affinity to the element, her dragon form is the only part of her that can make
use of it. this breath has similar effects to fire, but is golden in color and is extremely potent on monsters.
plant magic - this is the magic yldrir has come to rely on in her humanoid form. this magic allows her to control
plant life around her and use it to her will. it also allows her to grow new plants, although not always with
success. as a result, she can manipulate the environment around herself and use it to her advantage. these
plants can backfire and turn against her if she's not careful.
holy healing - on a basic level, this magic is somewhat derived from her light powers, although on the surface it is
standard healing. she is capable of healing allies of injuries and is quite good at it. however, this does extend
beyond simple injuries. given the power she once possessed as a divine dragon, yldrir can use this magic to
theoretically revive fallen allies. this comes at the price of draining her own lifeforce, thus she often does
not mention she is capable of such a thing.

personality; yldrir is a sassy girl who tends to act very childish despite her actual age. she dislikes when
others look down upon her and is quick to stand up for herself. because of this, she is a bit egotistical and
often thinks too highly of herself. however, after so many years of isolation, this is aspect of her personality
has diminished. admittedly, she is a bit cold as well and doesn't open up to people all too well. in a way, she is
a tsundere and hates coming to terms when she actually likes things. for someone who was once a deity of some
sort, yldrir acts far from what one would expect of her. she acts with little maturity or elegance. if anything she
is rough around the edges and hard to get along with. despite how she can rub people in the wrong, she isn't a
bad person by any means and actually deep down has good heart although she hides it under much sass and
immaturity. she does many good deeds though and will protect those she deems worthy of her time. breaking
down her barriers may be difficult and her stubbornness may turn many away, but she can be a worthy ally to
have for her capabilities. she is very strong-willed and headstrong, showing great amounts of confidence in
herself. when things don't go her way, she can get a bit angry, but she tries not to let it get out of hand. yldrir
however rarely is calm. often she shows quite a lot of energy, playing into her childish ways.

other; -was a former divine hero from centuries ago, but relinquished her role once she had fulfilled it.

weapons; lennox has a weapon he has decided to call solarflare. this weapon has a bud on the end that
absorbs heat and converts it into either healing or a beam that can be shot from it. he usually
tends to use it in a more supportive manner, favoring its healing over its attacking.
abilities; healing - thanks to the help of his weapon, lennox is an adept healer and can heal
a variety of different things from simple wounds, to sickness, to extreme injuries. the amount of
healing he can do depends on the charge of his weapon, thus he needs to be very aware of when
his weapon needs to gather heat energy to be ready for the worst.
camouflage - this is one of the magic capabilities lennox is capable of. this magic allows him
to easily blend in with his surroundings and keep himself hidden in plain sight. this means he is able
to change his fur color at whim to hide and sometimes does so when he gets frightened.
levitation - the second form of magic lennox possesses, somewhat in part to his role as a nature
spirit. with this magic, he is able to levitate himself and hover above the ground with relative ease.
he can only levitate up to four feet into the air before it becomes too much of a strain on him.
photosynthesis - an ability he has in full part to his species and his connection to plants specifically.
with the bud on his head, he is able to absorb sunlight to feed himself and store energy. when he has
excess sunlight, his body begins to glow faintly.

personality; lennox is a timid soul, often finding it hard to be around others. he is easily frightened and
runs off very often in the face of danger. while he is rather cowardly in nature, he does wish to be of some
kind of use to those around him. he has big dreams for someone who is very reserved. he desires to be seen
as useful and responds extremely well to praise, often coming out of his shell more when such is done. he
isn't much of a combatant nor does he enjoy combat in the slightest. usually he keeps to the edge of fights
and assists in the after effects more than anything else. lennox is very passive and it shows. he hardly will
stand up for himself and often cries when others start yelling, even if it isn't at him. being rather skittish
he does not respond to loud sounds well and will turn tail quickly. keeping him calm is a difficult task, but
can be well worth it given the support he can add to any given team. once he is comfortable, he does work
well with a variety of people, but it takes time for him to get there. despite being a bit difficult to work
with himself because of his crybaby nature, he does put forth his best effort, especially towards those he
has grown to like. around trusted allies, he is a bit more talkative and relaxed. overall, lennox isn't the
most ideal personality to have around, but is an exceptional support nonetheless if you give him time.

personality: asuka is a kind soul, although very shy and reserved upon first meeting people. he finds it difficult to approach others and even harder to open up to them. to some degree, he has anxiety and it often gets the better of him, despite how hard he tries to avoid it. with him, patience is key. eventually he will warm up to those around him and become very comfortable with them, sometimes becoming too talkative. people often refer to asuka as a bundle of joy and find his presence very comforting. he is a great listener and is very empathic towards others. however, despite his kindness, he can be a bit of a coward and does run from problems he does not fully understand. his emotions get the better of him and he often is very apologetic about it. it is easy to manipulate asu, especially given how oblivious he can be. he is too kind hearted to realize others intentions making him very easy to use. still, he is more than willing to forgive those that have done him wrong and move past it, though he does struggle to actually stand up for himself and usually accepts fault. arguing is certainly not a strong suit of his. if anything, he is a soft boy who only seeks the happiest aspects of life, though they may not always come to him.

personality; takumi is a tough individual, coming off as cold and distant towards most others. he is
difficult to get along with and tends to push people away more times than not. getting along with him is a
task in itself and he makes it no easier for people. he has a hard time opening to most and overall has a hard
time expressing himself beyond the more negative emotions. while he is bitter and snappy, there is a much
kinder side to him that does come through from time to time. usually he only shows it around people who
have been able to break through the walls he has put up around himself. this side of him, while still holding
his sarcasm and snarkiness, is much kinder, and much more open about his feelings. takumi is much more
willing to discuss himself around people he feels extremely comfortable with. he is even extremely over-
protective of said people and fiercely loyal to them. he may not strike most as the type given his usual cold
and gloomy nature, but he cares deeply for those close to him. he even goes to the extent of babying his
own pokemon, though when caught, he is easily flustered. he hates to admit to being a softie underneath
and will get irritated when people try to pry into that side of him. with all these aspects of his personality
it wouldn't seem that takumi would make a good champion. sure, he has the strength as a trainer to be
such, but his attitude causes others to see him as unfit to be such. he often struggles with this and does
question it. while he is confident in his own strength, he is insecure about his ability to connect with other
people and find the motivation to keep them safe. he simply cannot see them all the same way he sees his
closest friends. in this way, he is selfish, but all in all, he is more willing to help than he leads on. while
people may not be his strong suit, he fights to protect the pokemon, though he'd never admit such.

other; -was born in unova, but moved to sinnoh when his parents divorced. has been living in the region
since he was ten
-hades was his first pokemon and was given to him by his elder sister before him and his mother moved
-he is not the most talkative kind of person and has struggled around people ever since he moved to the

personality; galena is a naturally gentle soul whom is actually quite timid. she does not enjoy being in
the spotlight nor does she like living a pampered life though that is exactly what she got because of her
talent. while she believes that she can do much good for the world, she rather do it under her own terms
rather than someone elses. she lacks much confidence beyond that though. however, she does put her
heart and soul into the work she does even if it does push her comfort zone. she isn't naturally a gifted
speaker and struggles to do such when speaking to those she needs to take care for. this part of her has
made her quite likable by many of her peers and patients, but also heavily criticized as well given the role
she has taken up. she is excepted to make speeches often and share her research and while she loves doing
the work up to the point, she hates getting in front of others to share it. she much rather someone else take
credit for her work than needing to do it herself. in her eyes as long as it's saving lives she doesn't matter
who gets the credit. galena rather live a simple life and enjoy the little things than get herself caught up in
any kind of fame. this does lead to her being a bit of a pushover though and easy to take advantage of. she
rarely will stand up for herself and will back down almost instantly to avoid any conflicts. however, galena is
usually put into the spotlight despite her distaste for it. her peers have always desired pushing her as a
"guardian angel" of sorts thus have heavily pushed her into the eyes of the public. while she does not mind
being seen as such, she often finds the pressure too great for her. it isn't rare for her to have many sleepless
nights trying to solve issues or solve some medical mystery. she still is quite prone to making mistakes since
she is still extremely young, but people often forget that given how talented she is in her field.

other; -her mother was a pokemon nurse as well, and taught her from a young age how to care for
pokemon. she showed a natural talent for it quickly

personality; flynn is an adventurous and strong willed individual. he lives for the thrills of life and often
finds himself in the face of danger. even so he shows little fear. he relies heavily on his wits to get him out
of bad situations and lucky for him, he is great at improvising thanks to his years of training as a ranger. he
is prepared for many kinds of situations and even if he doesn't immediately know what to do, he rarely panics
and finds his way out. while he doesn't have extraordinary intelligence, he still is smart in what matters. his
fight or die mentality often keeps him on his toes and also provides the thrills he seeks for. beyond this, flynn
is a caring young man. while he does care for people to an extent, he has always found himself worried more
about the world around him; the pokemon and environments themselves. he still will protect people as well
and does care for them, though he will not stand for those who cause harm to pokemon. his heart is in the
right place, though he may come off odd because of his ways. however, when people can get past his strong
sense of duty, he is a pretty laidback guy. he doesn't particularly care for battle (unless someone is causing
destruction) and rather enjoy the wonders of the world around him. flynn is very extroverted in this manner
and finds it easy to be the social one, or even a leader if need be. oddly, he has a calming air about him
despite his more rambunctious aspects. when he needs to be, he is a great listener, although his advice
isn't always the best. still, he does his best with it.

other; -originally from hoenn. he grew up having a rather normal life there, but set off to explore the

weapons; shui wields a weapon known as the divinity staff. this staff allows her to gather great amounts of
ether and channel them into elemental attacks. it also gives her decent healing capabilities, making her
and versatile combatant. if needed, she can use the staff itself as a weapon to whack people with and
use in up close combat. she is well trained in this as well despite what her appearance might suggest.
abilities; shui is a trained soldier and as such is a well trained combatant and can hold her own in a fight.
she is capable of summoning various elements with her staff, including fire, wind and water. these three
elements are exactly what they sound like. to create them, she takes in ether and that is how they are
created. alongside these elements, she uses her ether to create an aura of healing around herself which
can heal injuries of herself or allies nearby. aside from that, shui's iris allows her to collect data, contact
others with an iris as well, and display various kinds of things she might deem usual. this is all within her
right eye.

personality; shui is a lively young girl with a free spirit despite the fighting that goes on in the world
around her. she is a happy-go-lucky girl that often looks upon the good parts of life. an optimistic individual
with a heart of gold, is what those around her would describe her as. perhaps even too kind to a fault. her
nature makes her rather oblivious to things, even though she understands what is happening in the world.
she dislikes needing to take lives in order to survive, but given her colony travels the sea much, it is clear
that she enjoys adventure. shui loves to learn and explore the world around her while also competing with
the others in her colony to see who can defeat the biggest monsters or find the best treasures. this gives
her a competitive spirit, although she isn't always too great with such. despite being a trained soldier she
works far better with others than she does on her own. she has a strong belief in others, though lacks the
confidence in herself at times. still, she keeps her head held high and pushes on. in many ways, she is
unfit for the sea life she finds herself in, yet she is accepted among the small colony as one of their own.
despite all this, there are still many unknowns that shui does not understand. she does not face the
hardship of the war the way other kevesi soldiers do nor does she face troubles from her consul. she is
able to live a rather carefree life given her situation, though her lifespan does linger in her mind and
conflict her. such often isn't spoken about around the colony, making it a difficult topic to wrap her
mind around, yet she has to accept it nonetheless.
