Hello all! I decided that I would host an art competition for my summer event this
year! I have never done an art competition before so let me know if there is any
information left out in this thread. To kick us off, the prizes will be located below.
It is a combination of free coding, C$ and pets! c: I hope this sparks interest as I'm
very excited to see what you all come up with!

𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓. Firstly, check out the post below for a form. You can
either edit your completed entries into your post or you can repost. It does not
matter to me either way. c: Once you have completed the initial post, create
a drawing of one of my characters or you can create something completely new!
Every entry will win a prize and winners will be determined based on creativity
and uniqueness. (I like unique things. I will post a little more about this below)

After waiting for what seems like forever, you see an armored head poke outside the door. He looked to be mangled and certainly blind in one eye. What you assume to be his costume is slightly off-putting... a little scary.

" [i]I am so sorry, comrade! With all the gunfire, I couldn't hear the knock at the door. I am sure you understand.[/i]" He lets a smile loose, fully displaying an unnerving wildness in his one good eye. "[i]Here are some provisions to help you continue on your journey! I hope you see something you can stand.[/i]" He says as he hands over a handful of treats off of a worn table on his front porch. "[i]Good luck and stay out of the trenches[/i]," he mumbles as he heads back towards his door.

You can't help but think there is something a little off about him. It was as if he didn't know it was even Halloween....[/center]

[b]𝙽𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐[/b] seems to be particularly 'stimulating' anymore. Despite that one unruly goth phase, ([i]we don't talk about that[/i]), my life has felt unbearably ordinary. I have always wanted to do something ...important, whatever that means. My mom tells me I need to, "practice mindfulness," and learn to, "appreciate everything that I have." [i]However,[/i] how can I be expected to do that when she hasn't given my phone back in two weeks! To be involved in social media world requires consistency. I am fully aware that 90% of the highschool world is fake, but to survive, you need to show your face proudly and often. Otherwise, all your name will be is forgotten. A perfect example of that is my costume this year. I [i]wanted[/i] to dress up as Harley Quinn this Halloween, but it was quickly denied by my mom as she doesn't "approve" of her. Which I think is just ridiculous. As the procrastinator that I am, the 31st snuck up on me before I could think of another costume, which led me to raid my older sisters crusty dusty costumes in the attic. The only one that happened to be still intact and without various stains was a giraffe. [i]A Giraffe!?[/i] [i]How[/i] can I be expected to show my face looking like I'm only 5 years old? [i]*sigh*[/i] I guess I will just have to make the best of it.

[b]𝙹𝚞𝚜𝚝[/b] [i]as the sun disappears passed the barren oak trees, moonlight dances admist the piles of leaves below, beckoning the various trick or treaters to take to the streets. Ainsley carefully pulls the giraffe costume over her head and takes a look in herself in the mirror.[/i]

'[b][i]𝚈𝚘𝚞[/i][/b] [i]know, it's not as bad as I thought it would be,[/i]' she thinks to herself as she lets loose a little smile at her reflection in the mirror. Not letting herself get caught up in the moment, '[i]As long as it doesn't ruin my social life[/i],' she adds to the memo in her head. After saying goodbye to her mom and managing to convince her that she [i]needed[/i] her phone in case she was kidnapped, Ainsley bounds down the front steps. She meets her friends a little ways down the street and, to her surprise, they really loved her costume! '[i]I'm really beginning to wonder how honest my friends actually are with my if they think[/i] this [i]is a cool costume.[/i]' After that strange bout of confusion, she hastily walks down the leaf-littered path. She couldn't help but be excited as she saw porch lights beaming through the quickly darkening evening air. Once her and her friends had taken some pictures next to the decor, they treck up to the front door. After ringing the doorbell, Ainsley lets out a confident "Trick or Treat!"
