he grew up in jasper, alongside many of the locals that decided to stay
within the town but he was one that managed to get away from jasper
and explore the world, which he was due to joining the military. he ser
ved in for almost eight years before he was forced to get discharged du
e to losing his leg while he was deployed. after leaving with the rank p
etty officer, he found himself returning to his hometown, wanting to ge
t some normality in his life, although he discovered that things had cha
nged and that it was going to be a long process to get him to feel like t
hings were normal. due to his job in the navy, he was able to get hireds
at a mechanic shop in town and tried to focus on that. for a while his lif
e consisted of: work, bar, home. which isn't a healthy habit at all and h
e's working on mending it with physical training and some therapy. butss
even though he seems distant, he is the type that if he saw someone in
need, he'd give them the shirt off his back or offer them a place if they
needed one. he's been working on his communication and socializationss
skills and accepting his injury as he hates when people stare or point it

life felt like it was perfect for the young girl as she grew up with her
parents and her older brother, horace, at least until the hunters sho
wed up and started to pick off her family one by one it seemed. first
they killed her mother, then not long after they took her brother fro
m her, leaving her with only her father as a support system for her as
she was a whirlwind of emotions. the day they learned of the alpha's
betrayal was the day her father was killed, trying to seek revenge on
their fallen family unit, leaving her on her own in this even more con
fusing world. one would expect the girl to be hardened and distrustful
of others since what happened but she tried to look at things in a not
so negative way, even though it can be very difficult to have a smiles
on when all she wants to do is scream and breakdown because all the
ones she loved are all gone now. this leads her to spend a lot of times
in her wolf form, roaming the woods in silence, often visiting the grav
es she's dug for her parents and brother and talking with them about
her day. since the pack have started to integrate more with the huma
ns, it has somewhat taken her mind off things as she enjoys exploring
the different parts she couldn't before and meeting new people, altho
ugh a part of her mind is always on guard in case any of them happen

in the woods surrounding woodridge, california, lives a pack of werewolves and a coven of vampires. these two groups lived in peace with each other due to a treaty they've made.
but recently that treaty has been broken as humans are turning up dead on the packs land and members of the vampire coven have been found dead accompanied by the scent of werewolves.
only the two groups haven't broken their treaty; an unknown group had been sent to cause the two groups to fight and hopefully destroy each other so the unknown group can claim their territory.
will the two sides realize they are not responsible for the dead bodies or will it end in bloodshed?

the northern woods belong to the wolf pack while the southern woods belong to the coven. there is a river that separates the two territories. there is only one town, woodridge, near them which has everything someone would need without having to travel to the nearest big city, which they often do to watch movies or go to the mall.
the wolf pack lives in small cabin-like houses, most of the members share houses besides the alpha, beta and medic.
the coven lives in a large expensive modern mansion with multiple rooms for each member to have their own.
