indentation"I'll do better than that, I can show you!" She said. There wasn't a whole lot to do and he seemed like a cool guy. "My name is Leia Astra. How about you?" Leia asked as her Riolu stretched its paw into the air and said "Riolu!" to the male. The guy seemed to be acquainted or familiar with the likes of Riolus and subsequently Lucarios. His Treecko was perched on his shoulders and Leia admired his choice in starters. Other than Snivy for the grass types Leia liked Treecko and Turtwig. Other than her Charmander she would have gone with Torchic, Chimchar, Fennekin, or Litten. As for the water types Leia may have selected Froakie instead of Piplup. However, she was ever so satisfied and pleased with her team and how they had performed in the Gym Battle at Canalave City. They had done incredibly well for it being their first time, Leia's too, and now they could claim Gym Badge number two.

indentationLeia began in the direction of the PokéMart to show the traveler. Several questions popped into her head like, where are you from? Are you a trainer too? What brought you to Jubilife City? What other Pokémon do you have?" Yet Leia remained quiet. Since they were close to the northern edge of the city they had to walk back to the center area. Her Riolu was becoming more and more comfortable with the newcomer and in no time at all they had reached the PokéMart. Leia decided she would go in as well and explained to him that she could do with a few more Poké Balls. She desired a rock type Pokémon for her team and in areas near Oreburgh City they were plentiful.

indentationUpon entering the store Leia noticed it was surprisingly desolate. She thought it would have been busy or at least fuller with more shoppers and others preparing for a day's adventure but it was not. The only ones in there were Leia and the male, their Pokémon, the cashier and two individuals at the back of the store with bluish green hair. Leia paid them no mind as she went for ten Poké Balls and a few Potions. The cashier was fine until the machine started having difficulties and refused to scan her items. It was then that Leia noticed that the cashier also had the same colored hair as the others in the store. With a short glance over her shoulder she saw that the two were now four and all had the same outfit and hair style. A gnawing sense of dread was overcoming her instincts. Everything about this was growing dimmer and dimmer the longer they remained in the mart. Even her Riolu was anxious and uneasy... Leia prepared to leave. She didn't need the Poké Balls as she still had about five in her bag. She tilted her head slightly to face her new acquaintance and his Treecko.

indentation"We need to leave, now." She breathed at a whisper. The cashier didn't give any sign they heard as they were still fixing the machine. Without any warning what so ever Leia burst out of the store. She flung herself away from the counter with her Riolu practically glued to her side and made a mad dash out the door barreling over the oddly dressed bunch. As she sprinted down the street Leia glanced behind to see if they were being followed.

Leia was born on an early summer's day in the gleaming
Crown City. The night time sky shone with the light of st
ars at the time of her birth and so her parents named her
for the shining star qualities. Shooting through her early
days her black hair lightened to a shade of chestnut. Th
e natural flowing fountain of hair was ever rich in its tex
ture and volume. Battles captivated the young Leia from
an early age. Whenever battle competitions were airing
on the tv she practically had her face glued to the screen
in awe. Another value of importance was nature. The pr
ominent role it played was greatly influenced by Crown
City itself, in which the city is said to be the perfect bal
ance between forest and city, where they coexist harmon
iously. Leia would spend hours wandering through the str
eets where plants grew tall and strong. Off in the distanc
e Mt. Coronet could been seen to the west, it was the tru
e display of power for Leia. Arriving in her late teenage
years, and in the transition period to young adult, she str
ives for greatness and to become on of the region's defen
ders. There is a true desire and passion for Pokémon blaz
ing through her veins. A reserved sense of silent beauty c
ourses through her and she aspires for it to been shown in
her battle style. Leia values the quest to earn all eight G
ym Badges for its own physical, mental, and the special
personal trails it provides. She is ready to prove herself
to the other trainers on their journey in the region's land.
Stormy weather is her favorite type, especially when it
snows, rains, hails, as well as thunder and lightning. She
views the natural landscape of the Sinnoh region to be
her true homeland with it's large forests, lakes, and the
magnificent Mt. Coronet. Leia has aspirations to become
the Champion of her region one day, but not just yet.
There is still plenty of time for her to train and prepare.
