Her sister was diagnosed with cancer at the fragile age of five years old, devastating news to the tight-knit family. Suddenly, everything revolved around the hospital. Even Maggie didn't escape the pokes and prods, giving blood and stem cells to her ailing sister, none of which she minded.

xxxxThis lasted a long four years, ending in her sister's passing. Her parents became more distant as they mourned. Maggie discovered she could now live the life of a rebellious teenager, not having anyone at home to tell her this was unacceptable. She was nearly kicked out of school before she realized she needed to turn her life around. By eighteen, she'd put herself back together again and began her path to becoming an elementary school teacher, able to relive her childhood through those she taught.

xxxxEver since she was a little girl, Maggie has been empathetic and helpful, ready to do anything to ensure her sister and family's livelihood. This has morphed her into a compassionate adult who works hard for those in her care. Because of her work in public education with kids usually ranging in age from 5-9, Maggie has learned patience and persuasion, tricking kids into doing things they don't want to do with a few simple sentences.

xxxxHowever, because she's a quiet woman who becomes incredibly anxious and unpredictable when the attention is on her, few have had the attention span to get to know the woman. All they see is a hard-working, humble woman, and they don't really care to see anything more than that. This has led her to working well on her own, thriving in isolation, able to perfect her plans before they come to light.

At four, her parents enrolled her in gymnastics after noticing her graceful gait and ability to climb anything that stood in her way. She immediately excelled at this. Finally, V was allowed to grow outside of her siblings' realm, flying off of the parallel bars and conquering the balance beam. Every second of her time not spent in school was given to the thrilling sport, and she was soon medaling in all her events.

xxxxBy eighteen, her coaches were talking about the Olympics and all the gold medals she might bring home. They and her parents pushed her even harder, and she bent to their will. One wrong move ended her career. Releasing the uneven bars for her landing a second too early, she crashed to the earth sooner than her body was ready for. Instantly, her leg shattered. Though it would be bolted back together, V's career was over, and she was once again just another girl.

xxxxAfter that, Vivian went to college, excelling in chemistry and earning a degree with straight A's. Yet her family was unimpressed, two of her older siblings already earning their doctorates with similar grades. She fell into the simple life, becoming a demure and sensitive woman, ready to flee if things get too stressful. No longer focused on success, V instead took a back seat to the lives of her family and friends, observing and learning, able to smooth over conflicts with ease, as she knew facts about others they didn't know themselves.

xxxxShe remains a loyal and intuitive woman, valuing the relationships of others more than anything else. She'd do just about anything for her friends and can be talked into things rather easily, despite her intelligence.

xxxxNamed after the state her mother was born in as a gesture to sentimentality, this backfired, as it constantly reminded the woman where her illegitimate daughter originated from. Unfortunately, the isolation and trauma caused her to flee once again, this time leaving behind a five-year-old girl with a name that would constantly get her into trouble.

xxxxAfter suffering years of torment in a foster home that didn't care anything about her, Alabama shed her name and adopted a new one: Sparrow, picked for the happy little social birds that always greeted her in the morning. With that, she made her way into the city, stealing to get by. When she was caught, she'd put on a façade of innocence and pled ignorance to whoever was involved. This lifestyle couldn't last long, however. She was caught stealing a large sum of money from an affluent politician. While her lies didn't get her off scot-free, she was merely sent to a boarding school for her misdemeanors.

xxxxWhen it first shut down, she tried to make her way back into the city, living off the streets. But soon she found this difficult, as her would-be victims were more aware of the crimes occurring in their beloved city. Recently, she joined the trinkets, finding it easier to sleep under a roof than in a cardboard box.

xxxxSparrow remains charismatic and confident, seemingly open to her fellow trinkets, yet it's wise not to trust anything that comes from her lips. She's an adept liar and often gets lost in her own stories, unable to distinguish fact from fiction. She'll do just about anything to get her way and has found that her good looks get her further in life. Sparrow doesn't mind flirting with anyone who has ears, though becomes downright mean when angry.

xxxxLuckily, she has proven to be an asset, as her mind is constantly thinking of news plans, her imagination boundless, as she's not burdened with learned intelligence, having skipped school more often than bothering with class. She thrives with challenges, and while she does enjoy gossiping, her attention is more often used on attempting to fix the problems of others.
