~history: he was a rebelious teenager in a small town. He had lots of friends, was the captian if his soccer team, and was a carefree kind of guy. He didn't have terrible grades, maybe high Cs. He always joked around and played. Although he was rebelious, he knew not to go too far.
Although everything seemed fine to everyone else, he was secretly getting bullied. He never told anyone. When his mother died of cancer, he grew more distant and the bully recognized it. They took their last strike and threatend to hurt his sister if he didn't leave with the bully. So to save her, he let himself be kidnaped and left with the bully to another town. He never told anyone what happened so they assumed he ran away.
When the war struck, his captor, being a few years older, had to leave. His captor left him with a friend, who was not very careful. Spencer slipped out at night and escaped. He ran to a newly abandoned hotel and stayed there ever since.

(it was his illusions but he did not know that. he cast the illusion of suffocating over his parents and killed them. he didn't know he was a mutant) he grew up later into an orphanage. When he turned 18, they kicked him out and he lived in the streets ever since. he found out that he had powers and had used them to survive this long. he still does not know he killed his parents
