on the surface sunstrike's a quiet tom. he only ever speaks when he's spoken to, and doesn't like attention. he prefers to just focus on whatever he's doing, be it hunting, standing guard, or whatever job he's given. there are rare occasions where he'll be the one to start up a conversation, and even more rarely will it be something that isn't about the task at hand.

digging deeper despite seeming like this silent, stone cold machine, he does have a lot of emotion bubbling inside him. he has a very childish sense of humour, and he's very easily upset. it's very hard to tell when he is upset, though, because he's good at keeping his emotions hidden. although he's only been a warrior for a few moons, he's grown very talented in the hunting area, mainly due to his quiet nature.

on the surface thistlepelt is a very bright character, in both senses of the word. he's quite difficult to upset, and loves fooling around. he's extremely childish, and slightly naive. despite this, he is rather intelligent. it's just his judgement and behaviour that's questionable.

digging deeper he has major commitment issues. thus is the reason why he feels he'll never be able to mentor an apprentice of his own, despite it being his dream. he wants to be able to train a young apprentice into a mighty warrior, something his own mentor couldn't seem to manage. he knows very well that he should grow up, but he can't seem to let go of his silly behaviour. he doesn't want to make another cat fail as badly as he has. although he believes he has no talents, he does have the potential to become a skilled fighter.

on the surface thunderheart always tries her hardest to be the bravest she can be, and most of the time she succeeds. she loves a challenge, and is almost always the first to volunteer for a task. she can be a bit upfront when talking, but she always tells the truth.

digging deeper she's filled to the brim with what she considers unrealistic aspirations. she longs to someday become deputy within her clan, if not leader. she's aware that it will be many moons before she could even be considered, and so she works extremely hard to prove to her older, more experienced fellow warriors that she has what it takes. she strongly dislikes being made fun of, and will most definitely voice her feelings if the need arises. she also dreams to someday mentor an apprentice of her own.

on the surface dawnpaw is more on the quiet side. she doesn't mind talking, but she doesn't speak often unless she's been spoken to. she's determined to become a talented medicine cat, and she loves helping out around the camp whenever she can. she's especially good with kits, since she's become adept in creating stories for them to hear.

digging deeper despite her age, she's quite a mature feline. more so than other apprentices her age. it's mainly down to her taking in all the wisdom passed down from her mentor, and from her time spent helping the elders of her clan. she likes to share the things she's learnt with others her age, but most of the time they'd rather be playing. she's extremely fascinated with the stars, and will often stay awake way into the night just to watch them.
