With no solid foundations in his new home, Gideon found himself isolated and sought comfort in expressing his emotions through literature and eventually, music, which helped him to cope with the changes at home. He was encouraged by a teacher to participate in the musical club within his school and Gideon quickly learned he enjoyed the art of reading and writing music far more than anything he had done before.

During his high school years, Gideon dedicated himself to mastering musical instruments and honing his songwriting skills. He formed close friendships with three other talented musicians at school, and together, they formed a band called Constellation.
