odetta had a turbulent upbringing
that resulted in her never really
having a place to call her one. you
always had to be one step ahead of
the other manatekes who wanted
you dead, willing to leave on a whim
with nothing to lose. never having
possessions, and eventually leaving
her family behind for a chance of
actually finding a reason to live.
she'll do anything for a moment of
peace, yet rarely trusts anybody to
be near her. both flighty and fighty,
the first to burn every bridge she's
built and leave no trace.

that are known to attack anybody
threatening their rule. odetta's
appearance had threatened the rule
of the previous authority, plunging
odetta in the very same fights she's
tried to avoid her whole life. only
upon defeating the port's champion
did odetta being to feel the changes
of all encompassing greed, as this
change in power meant she was
allowed possessions, peace, and
most of all, sweet, sweet power.
