when the law against magick passed, briar was in the middle of the city helping clie
nts; see, her abilities are not limited to just she's known for [manipulating bodily fu
nctions]. briar was a prolific potion maker and had her own shop - though it was dis
guised as a perfume house. despite the fact that wielding magick was now illegal, b
riar decided to still work out from her shop with a few regular, trustworthy clientel
e. her business was booming; she was so successful, though, that she attracted the
wrong sort of attention. after accepting a few outside clients, somebody ratted her
out and she was arrested, facing the death penalty. it would've gone to fruition, too,
if not for azrael sin. the viper's boss caught wind of her incarceration, and after lea
rning just a small amount of what she could do, azrael decided he could use her. so,
being out of prison, briar knew she owed azrael her life, and is forever in debt to hi
m. being the charmer she is, briar was tasked with helping [the second] kidnap doct
or zennik. briar is very much a people person, and she knows exactly what every sin
gle person she meets, wants - her skills of seduction and charm are unmatched.

growing up, mack was always underestimated. she grew up with four older brother
s who made life pretty difficult for her. whatever she did, her brothers would one
up her. their parents favoured the boys over her and never bothered to hide that.
as a result, mack was constantly trying to impress any and everyone around her. s
he put her heart and soul into everything she did, and was always one of the top i
n all of her classes. when she was very young, fallon became obsessed with space.
she had piles upon piles of books about ships, planets, stars, etc. she had wanted
to go up there her entire life. when she was twenty-one, fallon joined the army a
nd fought for her country for years. at twenty-eight, she was picked up by the gov
ernment and debriefed on her next mission; the journey to safari. she would be th
one to lead the mission, something this young woman had only dreamed of. being
as young as she was, many people had doubted her, including those who had actu
ally hired her. that being said, she was said to have exceeded any and all expecta
tions. ✧✧✧ taking her age into consideration, fallon decided that a slightly firm
approach towards her crew members may be the best approach for her, just so th
ey understood she was not there to mess around. that being said, once she got to
know her crew, she immediately grew soft and knew she'd do anything to protect
them.

chool. when she was sent to boarding school she got a little more tame - mostly due to richer kids bullying her. outside of school she thieved [mostl
y food/money for food], which is ultimately what got her into the most trouble she'd ever been in. when she and the others were abandoned, she s
tuck close to them, knowing that they would be more of a family than she had ever - and most likely would ever have. red still doesn't fully underst
and the group's circumstances, but if she were to have it explained to her more it would not end well. [ // ] due to her disability, red doesn't unders
tand emotions, tones, facial expressions, etc. this usually results in, well, problems. because of this, she tries to stay away from the others in the g
roup so as not to hurt them in any way. [ // ] red loves any and all animals - except spiders, they'll cause a meltdown for sure - but her favourite ha
s just got to be sharks; hammerheads were a great love of hers as a child, hence the tattoo on her left forearm, as were nurse sharks and whale sha

ian has always been an overachiever - he graduated school very early. his father is the owner
of a company that produced electrical generators (a very recognised businessman), and his mo
ther is the ceo at one of the biggest hospitals in new york. while ian was growing up, his intere
sts flipped between both mechanical engineering and medicine, but he really loved everything.
he liked building things (specifically woodwork), taking things apart (machines), he knows quit
e a bit when it comes to electrical engineering - he really is quite the jack of all trades. medic
ine is his main passion though; he's currently in his first year of residency, training to be a trau
ma surgeon. he's quite far ahead in his studies, meaning he can afford to miss some hours in th
e hospital to do the mayor's bidding with the others. despite his big and beautiful brain, ian ca
n be very down to earth. he is sweet, caring, loving, a real charmer; but he can also be a bit o
f a hothead, is overprotective, a bit of a jealous person and honestly he can't always keep his p
retty little mouth shut. he also has a bit of an ego, but he really doesn't mean any harm- he on
ly speaks when he knows he's right, and when he's wrong he'll admit it (though it may take him
a bit of time to do so), but most people don't seem to like that he is actually almost always rig

ziggy's always been a troubled kid. abandoned by his family at the age of three, he didn't really have mu
ch in the way of options, in his mind. tossed around from foster family to foster family, zig really fell in
with the wrong crowd at the young age of eight. gangs, kn!ves, theft - pretty much everything you coul
d think of - was dropped in front of him and, knowing nothing else, he picked it right up. he originally g
rew up and lived in new jersey, but at the age of sixteen he ran away from his foster home to new york,
where he felt he'd be left alone. and he wasn't wrong. zig's foster family either didn't notice, or they pr
etended he was still around so they could collect their checks. due to his childhood, he really doesn't li
ke people; he's not really nice to anyone - especially new people - of course there are likely some exce
ptions. wolf is extremely quiet, he reads a lot in his spare time. he's very good with his hands [ woodwo
rk, assembling/dissembling, etc ] and can cook a mean meal out of just about anything, though he does

n't like to. when you get to know ziggy, you realise he has almost zero ability to actually be nice to people.
he is constantly sarcastic, sassy, rude, etc. he is fully aware of his actions, but he doesn't like this about himself - in fact it's one of his least favourite qualities. that being said, he really doesn't know how to get out of this toxic mindset; he sort of hopes he can meet someone that will bring it out of him <3
