Hey, unsure if this is just me, but imgur keeps turning this gif I want to upload into a "video" and destroys the quality...? If anyone knows how to fix this I would be really appreciative, thank you! <3

Open the gif you want in a new tab.
Change the .mp4 or whatever file format the gif is in to .gif at the end of the url

With IMGUR, high quality large gifs are automatically made videos to keep the size restriction down, but with this one trick it can trick the system into making it a gif.

Example is below. I just changed the url from mp4 to gif

Hello! I have realized that imgur doesn't let me post gifs on the site, with out it saying "Blob." is there anyway to fix that? And is it just me or has it happened to others? Because It never works when I try to post any sort of animated gif.

i'm really stuck here.
i'm looking for the signature to be a little less wide and more narrow
so it all fits in and doesn't seem jumbled. it looks different on different
browsers, but i'm trying to edit it so that it looks the same on every browser.

I can't edit it because it looks absolutely fine on my browser. If I were to do any edits, it would not be necessary since it fits.
My guess however as to why it doesn't fit has to do with the lines

In different browsers, these lines are different widths. For some browsers it looks broken but for others it works. Unfortunately we cannot control when or how this happens.

If you want, I can replace these lines with dotted ones which are shorter and more likely to fit as a whole?

Also: Different computer resolutions display different signature results. If your computer has a small resolution, then it won't display big signatures like this one. Depends on the person viewing. In short, all signatures are broken for at least someone on the site.

Right click on image
Open in new tab
Copy the url listed there in the url bar.

If the gif is .mp4 at the end of the url, change that to .gif like I mentioned here:

There is a very fine line about usage of images. In regards to official material from fandoms and otherwise, CS allows this to be used for signatures. This also includes creating images based on this type of content.

Images which are someone's art, photos or edits need credit to the original artist.

With signature making, legally if you take a medium that is already established into. New medium, aka a recontextualisation, this is perfectly legal under fair use.

There typically only is a problem if people are getting real life money from using things and non labelled reuse imagery. However for the most part, signature making is for fun and personal use.

Rule of thumb is if it doesn't belong to you and ain't official / stock, credit the person who made it.
