okay, you know these wonky things?

are they not fitting into columns? why are they breaking everything up? i added a size bracket, why won't it fit? what is happening? -w- this is a handy dandy explantaion on how they work and the basics of code boxes, the reasons why they refuse to work and how to fix it!

a code box is made up on the box itself and the text inside that you click "code: select all" to copy! anything you put within the code brackets ( [code ][/code ] ) will show. this is how you can transfer coding or forms over to somewhere/someone ~

there are two ways to make a code box smaller: size brackets ( [size=xx ][/size ] ) and formatting brackets ( [left ][/left ] [right ][/right ] [center ][/center ] )

see, by putting a code box within a left column will make it smaller! it will be the same width as you make the column to be ( if you added unicode blocks on top and the text within the code box wasn't larger than such )

< see, on the left, the 'codecodecodecodecodecodecodecode' that you see isn't wider than the █'s so the code box will widen

but, what if the text inside my code box is wider than how i want my column to be?

what if the 'codecodecodecodecodecodecodecode' was too wide?
if i wanted to put a piece of coding with words that are too wide for the column?
the unicode blocks ( ███ ) are how wide i want my column to be, but look, the code stretches father! oh no, whatever shall we do?

the answer is size brackets! while at first they don't look like they do much, the size brackets are rather important when you have code/stuff you want people to copy that is very wide!

the size brackets downsize the text within the box. because the code box will shrink to fit the code, naturally, if the text is smaller, the code box will become smaller too!

the down side to the sizes is that, if your code is too small, it will be hard to c+p it. play with the sizes and how large you can get the text within the code without going over. always try to keep the text within the code as large as possible.

I believe I could make the spaceman image go in the center, but I believe it'll be hard to
fit the other border, since it's too wide. Do you mind if I trim it down to just one (█)?

if you're wanting the gif to be on the left and be the height of everything the gif isn't tall enough, and i played with it a bit and found that you can only have the bee movie button + 1 line of text for the gif to be on the same level as it's a rock
