@lylia just stick the new column at the end
of the coding stuff, and put whatever you
want there. since there's no more space for
your new left column at the side, it just gets
pushed to the bottom. easy as pie

I try and encourage the use of tutorials first before helping anyone as while this is a help thread, the best idea is to have a go yourself first so that you learn how to do things yourself. While this thread is here to help, we encourage the use of developing your own skills first and foremost. I haven't really been active here but this is something which is starting to be lost here. Especially when it comes to Image manipulation because this can be time consuming and it's something that the person on the other side helping you doesn't really need to help with all in all.

Update Announcement

Double posting because I am a bad person.
I haven't forgotten things, IRL has been a word I can't say on site. I have done some general updates to the thread. These include:


• Adding a collection of CS rules about what you can and can't do in regards to coding. This is a WIP.
  
• All tutorials tagged with 'Stupendous' have been added to the front.
• Minor fixes in coding and spelling errors have been addressed.
• Refined some of the terminology used at the front of the thread to make things more cut to the chase.
• Added a 'Do it yourself first' rule. This is to ensure this thread stays a help thread rather than a 'I can get free things done' thread. I have seen a lot of things made in here being used for signatures which have been paid for commission wise (I am not post active but trust me I have the eyes of the Night Mother) We are here to help, not to do.
• Removed my signature from all posts in the first three pages because I keep forgetting about those. Hopefully.
• Changed users names on tutorials and other things they contributed to on request.

Now: A list of updates I need to do:

• A post dedicated to art theft. Mainly for archiving, and to have everything together in one post.
• Gimp gif tutorials.
• Cry. Lots and lots of crying.
• Thinking and considering about having a rate system for templates. Rate them from easy to hard.
• More Avatar templates
• More post templates
• Trade rule templates (Requested in PM)

I also wish to thank the mods Meta-Bev, oh holy gods and arty smarty for their assistance while I have been dealing with shenanigans. I realize that I haven't been here at all doing much and it sucks a ton. I mean on one hand I really need to change my signature because I have had it for 3 months now. On the other, I just don't have the time anymore because of said IRL stuff. It's unfortunate to say the least.

no problem, you just had to make the [right ][/right]'s two columns. i had to learn that when making my current signature. also for future reference, put whatever you want on the right first, and whatever you want on the left last.
