late night magic gone wrong

This rebellious student believed she was ready to take on high-level spells despite her lack of experience and her magic teacher's warning. She snuck into the library "fully prepared" in her white cloak, lab approved goggles, and fins for foot protection. It's her first year of magic school and she is only a novice, so in truth she wasn't actually sure what to bring.. or how to do any spells. But she has confidence! That counts right? Naturally this all went wrong for her. She turned her hair and tail rainbow, she got mysterious goop on her cape, she summoned a rubber duck as her familiar instead of a real duck, she started a small thunderstorm.,.. but, um, at least she has her drink & she looks cute doing it. Despite the problems, she still has no regrets about doing this. Practice is practice, and magic class is slow and boring. Well she regrets the goop foot prints she tracked out of the library..that was a mistake
