What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

It'll be neat to do an prehistoric theme, I mean with legit dinosaurs species not the fantasized ones from the cave summer event...kind of something like Terra Nova or StarGate when your walking though a portal into a total dinosaur world...it'll be awesome to have some more Dino pets. Because I would love to have a Lambeosaurus or a Brachiosaurus or Olorotitan :3

Sorry to be that guy lol, but cryptids arent officially mythical creatures, they are unproven creatures. Its not a cryptid without sightings!

Personally i wouldnt like a camping event because there are so many already existant camping stuff from other events, but i agree cryptids are cool. I also agree that a lot of cryptids are creatures that were first told of by indigenous culture and i worry that CS would not respect that, because a lot of the cryptid community already ignores these perspectives and the kind of mythos around them has become very white, but thats an issue for another time and i believe that CS could handle it gracefully if they consulted native folk for their cryptid lore.

Honestly im biased towards the shrink ray idea but all these ideas look so cool all im thinking about is how much i cant wait to see what they pick!

Someone said rave theme I think that would be super cool. But idk if that’s with community guidelines and such. A dance? Like a ball. Or like a prom type of vibe.

Chicken Smoothie . com staff the summer event is always my favourite of the year. I started off with the space event which really hit it out of the park in every aspect- I still remember the plot and characters from that event extremely fondly. I also adore the lost city and jungle events. I think the internet event did a pretty good job of capturing what I loved so much about events to begin with - interactive activities. Whatever it is you choose, please incorporate minigames and such like in those events! The snake game, duck racing, etc. They're brilliant and add a layer of memorability other events don't have.

Another thing I'd love to see is more interactions between NPCs and more focus on the NPC dialogue. I loved how the characters existed together in the lost city event :'D I think those character relationships give a lot for the CS community to grab onto, especially in the event discussion boards. The fanart and shipping wars and stamps and teams that come out of those events are so fun and remind me why I love this site. Now onto my theme suggestions!

I think a detective style event with a mystery would be so mega cool. Some main NPCs, an overarching mystery to solve throughout the event, some really cool item sets of detective outfits - the mystery doesn't even have to be that complex. I think it'd lend to community discussion a lot to try and solve the mystery before the NPCs do! I just think that would be amazing.

Ive seen some people suggest Ancient Greece already but I second that. I think the aesthetics, pets and items that could come from that event would be awesome. Leaning into the mythology and art.

I know the cave event was already time-travely with old stuff, but I think time travel to the future could also be an awesome event. Or time travel to a bunch of different periods - I don't know any users who'd say no to more dinosaur pets lol. Time travelling to a distant point in time, but our time machine breaks and CS is stuck! And the NPCs could help us get the materials to fix our time machine yadda yadda. Basic plot but would be fun.

Another suggestion - high in the sky event. We travel up into the clouds, and we could encounter dragons, gryphons, any number of mythical beasts or real birds. I think the map for this event would be so pretty..

One last suggestion, as I've already said a lot lol. Antarctic expedition! Or snow in general. Penguins, polar bears, seals, etc etc. If just general snow, snow leopards, elk, foxes, lynxes etc. Infinite potential in a snow event.

edit 2: saw someone say ghosts and i think a haunted mansion would be AWESOME. NPCs of the new owners of the house, NPCs of the ghost haunting it. we help the ghosts and the owners co-exist. that would be so cute and a haunted mansion would be an absolutely awesome backdrop. lots of lovely ghost pets and household furniture items.

There could be a detective mystery + snow event combined into one - snow appearing in the middle of summer would definitely be a big mystery, something Avian and Totoro could very much want to solve!
Event tokens could be snowballs, icicles, frozen berry branches - that NPCs would ask us to clean up for them.
Both Arctic and Antarctic animals could appear, attracted by the area's sudden drop of temperature

The reason behind this could be, perhaps, that some winter/ice pets decided to have a summer vacation and accidentally froze the entire site?
Imagine the christmas pets with summer look - melting, panting from overheating, shed into summer short coats, etc
Reindeer could have their calves, born earlier in spring, instead of adult reindeer!

yesssssssss pirate adventure!!!! it would be really cool to see us get more types of fish as a lineart besides the koi and betta too if that gets explored!
