What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

Would love to see a Haunted Castle/Graveyard Picnic event. It'll rub elbows a little bit with the themes we typically see during the Halloween event in October, but I think playing it more towards a dark/macabre/victorian/overgrown english garden/unkept castle a la Beauty and the Beast vibe rather than ghouls and goblins and monsters outright, it could be super fun!

I love the idea of anything victorian themed! Maybe we can go back in time? Like in those webtoons stories where the character reads a book then wakes up and is suddenly a character in the book lol

I like the suggestions for science, school, and bug themes! Maybe some sort of field trip/school project where you get to capture bug specimens in various environments. Or a science classroom setting as a summer school course. I wouldn't turn my nose up to a "shrunken down and live among bug society" narrative either, but I would probably be too nitpicky about how it's done and its accuracy to real bugs.

I just like bugs a lot and are rarely given the justice they deserve

I would personally be upset if we got another "camp somewhere - meet woodland/mountain cryptids" event. 2019 was one! There are so many interesting new ideas there is no need to repeat.

I'd be upset, too. A lot of what people have been saying has already been done, to a degree.
I really want to see an event with the scenecore aesthetic be done, and I will keep asking for it until the end of time.

Agreed, adore the scenecore idea! I think it bounces nicely off the nostalgia factor the last event had

We've had scene/emo pets before but I'd love to see the world of alternative subcultures explored in depth

My suggestion is a norse mythology event.

Or make it Norse mythology. To asgard. The gods. Frost giants. The world tree (yggrassil). The rainbow bridge. The world serpent. Loki, Thor, Odin, Freya, frigg oh and Idun, plus many mor deities. Fenrir. You could save the world from Ragnarok.
Oh you could have so much fun with this. Please make it a Norse event. I'm interested in this.

But I also cat themes. Or bird themes. Every pet could be like a cat or bird lol. Thank you peachtabby for the cat theme idea. I love it.

Man I'll just say that planning out these events seems really hard from the pov of the staff. I'd have to take atleast half a month to properly sort out in my head what theme id pick and what aesthetic and lore I'd go for. Also, (pretty biased) when we are on the topic of mythology I'd love If it would be Slavic mythology because it's something not that well known about and has a certain mysterious element to it.
