What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

Don't know if it has been said or not yet, but maybe some kind of riverboat ride/ride down the river. Could cover a good number of places around rivers, with plenty of fun river life (more otters! I neeeed all the otters! ) Like otters, ducks, various fish, birds that live around the water, etc. With cattails, reeds, river rocks, rapids and waterfalls for some item options, along with the riverboat and lifejackets and the like.
For the part two 'second world' like thing the summer event tends to have, perhaps our boat crashes and we have to find ways to repair it and travel into nearby 'wooded' areas to find trees to cut down for wood, little animal friends like squirrels and chipmunks to help us put everything back together?

Whatever we do, I just hope we get some more otters! I've really liked a lot of the ideas above, like the RPG, Camping, Mad scientist, etc.

would like to reiterate that i am not fond of the cryptid idea as it tends to drift into cultural insensitivity with indigenous cultures very fast, such as the misuse of the w*ndigo and thunderbird among others. while obviously some cryptids are completely fine, i don't like the theme in general due to how much it tends to toe the line or even outright cross it a lot of times.

LET'S GO CAMPING! maybe to like a summer camp where we can meet other campers and run errands for them, and eat marshmallows and do camp activities. would b so fun.

editing this even tho nobody will see it.. just because we go into the woods does not mean we're camping! fae mischief did not include setting up tents and roasting shmellows and archery and whatever else happens at a summer camp. ;_;

I'd absolutely love an ancient eastern vibe, filled with dragons, terracotta warriors, beautiful dresses, rivers of Mercury, aka what if the gang managed to unearth the mini city replica at the heart of the emperor's tomb, which resulted in the freedom of the souls of the warriors trapped in the terracotta army. My history nut side is showing and so is my love for Asian history on this one.......... No shame here <3
