I've seen some people on this thread say the same, so I think both will be popular.
I have also seen people say they want something like the Egypt event again, so maybe something based on ancient Greece/Rome or Feudal-era Japan. I think both have potential for story, items, and mythology-based pets.
And for my top choice: Battle of the Bands!!!!

maybe a summer music festival like coachella? or like a vacation that gets unexpectedly snown in and we have to figure out how it happened? A camping theme would also be cool too!

I think an apocalyptic/ doomsday/ end of world theme would be really awesome!

Ooh I dont know if it's a dumb idea but I'd love something like exploring an abandoned castle/ house in the middle of the forest. I'd love more creepy and mystical nature themed pets.

I’d love either a camping event or a sky themed event!

Camping event- CS goes camping and then there’s a big storm and we have to help rebuild the camp or rescue npcs? The tokens could be marshmallows, sticks, matches, or other small camping items. We could get some realistic pets from it too, like raccoons, squirrels, or bears!

Sky themed event- some kind of floating island map? The tokens could be feathers maybe. We could get lots of dragon and bird themed pets! And maybe some new wing items! Maybe the plot could be like we go to the islands and then they start crumbling or falling?

a japanese cherry blossom event maybe where we explore tokyo sakura blossom festival and we explore the stands and games! and get japanese inspired pets!!

Building on the camping theme, what about a summer camp? (Not sure if we had this already)

We could have various activity-themed pets, such as Arts and Crafts pets, while still having regular camping-themed pets as well!
The NPCs could be camp counselors.

This could also incorporate the "science camp" theme I've been seeing.
