What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

I'm not the first to suggest it, but I would love an art gallery event.
Pets could be different art styles, inspired by real-life art styles and mediums (I know we already have a Monalisa themed, so that could be one of the npcs).



We've the recent 'unicorn in captivity' tapestry pet, that's another candidate

We could have pets covered in dripping paint (have you seen those pouring paints that are kind of popular right now? plenty of opportunities there). What about marble statue pets? Popart!

Background items like paintings, we could have foreground items be of different styles of frames (like the selfie frame from the internet event), backgrounds based off of real landscapes, maybe some dripping clocks? Starry night? Those squares Piet Mondrian is known for. Balloon animals are kind of in too, or you could have those as items.

New paintbrush items, paintbuckets, what about a clay turntable? Pottery in various stages of completion, including one that's gone floppy, in case your pet finds they're no good at pottery? How about some shelves to display art? How about some ridiculous price tags and evaluations? Glass blowing equipment?

Maybe we could be solving a painting theft mystery along the way, restoring paintings to the museum wall.

I just think there's a whole lot you could do with that.

I think an event based on the exploration of abandoned buildings would be really cool! Ruined houses, the animals that have taken them over and live inside, the nature taking over everything, I think it could make some really cool potentially cryptid feeling pets!

some people have been suggesting mythology, urban legends, cryptid hunting and steampunk and i LOVE all those. what about some sort of cryptid-zoological hunt in a sort of steampunky modern setting??

im definitely drawing a lot from my experience playing call of cthulhu here, and thats probably a bit TOO spooky for a summer event but... the idea of a similar theme definitely excites me

I would love to see a medieval event again. Or a time travel event. The setting could be some kind of portal landscape where you can visit different time periods, each with different gifts / animals that are adapted to the time (similar to the previous events Stone Age, Middle Ages, Victorian age etc.).

Or a Nordic or Mystic Gods theme. Something with fairy tales. I would be quite a fan of a Fairytale-Grimm event, where there are different gifts from different fairytales. Kelpies, werewolves, pigs, dwarfs...

I love cloud/sky themes, wings are always neat! Pastels have my heart so those would be cool to see, but crytids/mythological creatures have my vote for sure, that'd be SO cool!!! From greek, to norse, to chinese to japanese to so many more the options are endless!

Maybe we stumble upon something like a convention or meeting place where mythical creatures from all over the world are coming together to talk, play and have fun! Cryptids could also join in!

There could be anything from the classics like unicorns, pegasus, dragons, gryphons, peryton, phoenixes, kraken, jackalopes, but also things like werewolves, vampires, mothman, bigfoot, the loch ness monster and chupacabras. We could see youkai like kappa, oni, tanuki, kitsune, and tengu. And meet ratatoskr, sleipnir, jormungandr, niddhog and fenrir. Be introduced to some sphinx, chimeras and hydras, maybe get a glimpse of the famous cerberus. Hang out with some quilin, zheng, huan, foo dogs and feng huang. Maybe we run into some selkies, black shuck, faeries and gnomes; who knows!

As i said possibilities for this are endless and incredibly interesting to me, i spent a good chunk of my childhood loving mythology and still do! An event like this would make me so happy to see! And i am sure designs would be breathtaking and diverse!!

As a huge bug nerd, I’d love an event where we’re basically in a garden and get super shrunk down, so we get to explore and talk to the bug folk and all! Would be a cool idea and make for some funky pets me thinks

Not going into detail as I'm on mobile but I feel like a summer camp would be cool! The different npcs would be like your different things you can do "the beach" "wildlife walk" "craft station" "campfire stories" you could incorporate some spooks in there too!
