What would be your dream Summer Event theme??

Ideas: camping in the middle of the wilderness (as others have suggested cryptids and mysterious creatures would work well here), a mystery that needs to be solved that unfolds each day, something sky/cloud themed or floating islands, time travel, a mansion or palace or maybe an abandoned castle, stuck on a desert island, maybe we get sucked into an alternate universe and everything’s really strange and we work to escape

i've seen a lot of camping/wilderness-style suggestions and i am fully on board w that! mossy pet designs with themes like overgrowth and grainy, woodsy sorta vibes. i think there's a lot of potential for everything from silly little forest ferrets to ethereal woodland god-like creatures that guard the land or something. ancient ruins could be a thing there, too

a cloud-themed event seems to be really popular as well, and i like the idea, but it is very similar to the slumber party event in terms of the pet designs. maybe an aerial-themed event? less clouds, more wings and feathers? floating islands and flying whales? idk

whatever u guys choose, i'm sure we'll all enjoy it :]!

I like that idea a lot!! Maybe even with a spooky stories pet batch and flashlight items! And camping isn’t camping without a campfire and marshmallows, chocolate, cookies & smores!
As for the cloud-themed/aerial event, I’d love to see some griffins, hippogriffs, hieracosphynxes, pegasi, an axex and keythongs! Omg especially a Minoan griffin! And an opinicus!

I’m excited for any of the event ideas tbh, I’m sure whatever does end up being chosen will be fun nonetheless!

i'd love to see an event about urban legends, cryptids, mythical/paranormal creatures, etc! can't wait for it regardless tho. the summer events are always super fun (:

There’s been so many good ideas already! My top choices would be

- mythology/cryptid/supernatural focus
- toys/board games theme
- hyper urban or steampunk!

some kind of post-apocalyptic desert wasteland event would be cool!! maybe with some underground themed areas/pets too, since cave dwelling creatures evolve weirdly :3c

pirates would also be dope! sea monsters and swashbuckling....

i like the idea of steampunk, garden could be cool with heaps of plant and flower themed pets, ocean and high fantasy sound cool ^^

I have to say i agree with the others with cryptids, UFOs, and the paranormal. We haven’t had a mountain theme yet, and i also think a Mojave and/or Colorado desert would be cool and fit with the theme with former nuclear test sites, area 51, Roswell (though it is admittedly further east), and a bunch of hippies out there trying to connect with something primal. Unlike Egypt, the terrain is mountainous and covered in bizarre plant life such as Joshua trees (Mojave) and saguaros (Colorado). I think a redwood forest would also be a good fit for that theme.

I think it would also be really fun to have a steampunk theme revolving around mad scientists and tinkering with wild magic. It could be set on an airship, and maybe there would also be air pirates? Meanwhile there would be a feud between the mad scientists, who want to tame wild magic for a variety of purposes, and mages, who can use the magic in its pure form?

I also have a bit of a soft spot for raygun gothic- think the aesthetics from the 30’s through the 50’s, but with fantasy/sci-fi elements. Maybe superheroes would work in that kind of retrofuturistic setting? Think Captain America, the Incredibles, Deathloop, and maybe even the Fallout series (obviously without the graphic video game violence). A city would be a good setting for this.

No matter which theme you end up choosing, I hope the arcade game is fun this year! I was mildly addicted to the Snake game available during the Internet Event, haha. I even managed to top a leaderboard.
