Apple and her mother, the previous Snow White, share a positive but not particularly close relationship. Snow believes that her and her queendom's success are a fulfillment of her destiny. Wishing her daughter to enjoy the same success, Apple was groomed to be a prime candidate for the next Snow White. Upon her selection to be the next Snow White, training efforts doubled so she could play the part perfectly. Apple is seen as an heir rather than a daughter, leaving tender and vulnerable moments between the pair few and far between. Both are content in the relationship yet to realize it potential detrimental impacts.

For this piece, I was inspired by mid-sixteenth century aristocratic portraiture. I thought this would be something that would hang up in their castle. Pardon the iffy Latin! It supposed to read "Queen and Princess - Apple of My Eye." I did my best, but it was difficult to find a trustworthy translation.

A redrawing of a pic almost 6 years old now! Back then, I know I wasn't really going for a bg or anything like that, but I've grown a lot more comfortable making simple bgs, and I feel this one helps the character feel more connected to the water than before. A redesign was also in order, so I gave him a simple fit for the time being LOL Def happy I went back to greens and blues instead of the blue and purple direction for him. I didn't want him to blend too much with another character I have~

GRAH guh gah -1 -1 -1 poison damage but in my miiind. i just want to draw and be silly. that's all i want in life, truly. why must i do things. why cant i just roll around in bed all day and giggle to myself thinking abt my silly little romans and my silly little dnd characters and ocs. but NO must write essay. alas!!!!!! must write essay.


UPDATE: I JUST TURNED IN MY ESSAY i finished it tonight, turned it in 4 days late and 5 pages longer than the requirement UMMMM but in my defense my professor told the class "there's no page limit, you can go over it" SO if he's mad about that, i plead innocent :33 :P:p
it being 4 days late is entirely my faoult tho,, mb mb executive dysfunction go brrrr
i have a million reasons as to why it was late and took me so long to write it but lowkey im so perfectionistic n self defeating that in my head they all sound like excuses rather than legitimate reasons so i've opted NOT to send an email explaining myself and simply hope for mercy and the best. it's a damn good essay im very proud of it now that it's done soo lowkey expecting the quality of my work to make up for its lateness a bit.
