the timer is way off I left this open for a while and forgot about it ;;

I've had this two year old unfinished piece of Zuko art sitting in my gallery for long enough! I decided that today was the day I kicked it out with a two year year improvement!

...dang. That's what I call a change of art styles, right there.

I have to admit, while I do find the 2018 Zuko terrifying, I don't totally hate it because that was the first piece of art I did when I was starting the journey of finding my own art style. The first art I actually posted in this style was this. And yeah, my art has jumped in a different direction (thank goodness.) but man, August 2018 was where I started! This was when I told people I had discovered my very own art style and that was so exciting.

I'm really glad I drew 2018 Zuko since it was the beginning of a huge journey. But I also have to admit that I like 2020 Zuko a lot more. （ ´∀｀） If you guys didn't know, Zuko's my adorkable bae. I love him. ;_;

AHH, this was so much fun to do! I like doing redraws, it gets me so pumped! ^^ I remember in 2018, my plan was to draw Katara next to Zuko but oops, oh well, that didn't go as planned. XD And I didn't know how layers worked in 2018 so everything was weirdly on two layers. :>

I checked the timer before I did the 2020 one and it read 2 hours, so I guess 2018 took me 2 hours and the 2020 took me 51 minutes, I used a mouse, and please don't steal/repost this! Ref.

OKAY, LET'S ALL AGREE PARK CHANYEOL IS THE CUTEST AND PUREST BABY. ≧◡≦ Just! Gah! My deep voice baby. I don't draw him enough! He's really fun to draw! His head shape is interesting for me to draw, for some reason. It wasn't too hard to draw for this one but the other times I've drawn Chanyeol, it's been hard! Maybe I'm finally getting the hang of it?

ANYWAYYY, Chanyeol looks like he's gotten younger. The soft brown hair makes his face look super youthful. Every time I see him in recent pictures, I have to give it a double take! Like! THAT'S 2020 CHANYEOL?! But yeah, he's cute. He was the third EXO member that stole my heart. ♥( ^▽^)♥

Also, no joke, he's the best rapper I've ever heard. Nobody can change my mind. He is the most talented rapper. I need, like, a solo album from him. ;_;

WELP, I had far too much fun with this, like I almost always do! The timer is mostly accurate, I used a mouse, and please don't steal/repost this art! I looked at this picture for the pose (Fun fact: that's one of the first Chanyeol pictures I ever saved and I LOVE IT.) and I looked at this IG post for hair/outfit/everything else reference! Gonna name him Salad because I accidentally read "Sad Lad" as Salad.
I just don't know, he was a 15 minute doodle for this but I missed my chance to post what I made, but I liked the rough design concept so I just Went With It, and revamped it a little and turned it into a new character.

Salad is missing one of his eyes, who knows why, but he has some cool glass eyes to put in but just?? Doesn't really like wearing them, collecting them is cool tho got a whole drawer full. The ones shown are some of his favorites.
Always wears that jacket, even though it's way too small for him now, it says "I'm Beary Sad" on it
He'll cry at anything and everything, cries when he's happy, cries when he's sad, cries when he's annoyed, just cries all the time.

I tried out a more cartoony version of drawing a person and then decided I wanted to see what he'd look like in my normal semi-realistic style. I love him, but have no clue what to do with him, so anyways he exists now
