i honestly don't know what to say. it's not hitting well that 2020 is now two years ago. although despite the heck of a year it has been with a lot of negatives, it's always important to look and focus on the positives. lots of epic friends made in 2021! i got to move for the first time ever and i feel a lot happier in my own room now instead of sharing it with my older sibling. spent watching the countdown with some broskis and had a real fun time<3 2021 has been wild, but always looking forward to what positivity this year will begin. grateful for the awesome friends i have and been sticking with me for months/years. very grateful for you guys too <3 can't believe i've been drawing this silly random rat every new years since like 2017... (feel free to hit the 'based on: click to view' to see previous years') also if you're wondering why the rat's got a funky outfit well it is cuz it's also ichiban kasuga's birthday! (protag of yakuza 7) and i thought it'd be a little silly goofy to make the rat do some cosplaying. |

I was on yesterday getting December's pets and was like hey I wonder how much -if any- oekaki has changed Doodled my symbiote oc, Terror, just to play around It was fun to go back to a program that's pretty simplistic, and I highly rec it if you're getting burnt out on your other programs Open up MS Paint, or oekaki, and just play |

Also yeah definitely, I was missing some of my tools (please just a basic lasso selection tool, I beg) but tbh oekaki kinda forces you to just get creative and it's so fun Typically I use a lot of gradient mapping and hue changes because I'm so bad at putting together my own colors. For this I had to just guess and hope for the best and I am supremely surprised it came out so cool looking |
