Rosalind was the first of the two to confess of the both of them; having known each other for as long as they had, most of the rest of the Veil cats were surprised the other one finally asked the question. It was only a matter of time, anyways.
Everyone else could see the signs, though - how Percival fawned over her when she wasn't looking, how Rosalind would make sure to pick the best prey for him, the two of them were meant to be and the rest of the clan could see it.
Percival had always been antsy about confessing his feelings to her, and she was much the same - of course, one of them would have to ask eventually!
She felt it would be best to ask him on the prettiest night she could think of - a full moon, right next to the waterfall in camp.
Of course, who was he to say no? This was everything he could've ever dreamed of, and he admitted to her that he was incredibly nervous to confess to her. She broke out laughing, admitting that she only got the courage because everyone else had told her to say something! What a blessing that was.

Yknow he hasn’t ever expected he’d find someone who he’d actually… stick to. Who’s he’d actually really love and… god it made him all nervous and scared that he was going to mess this up. Windwhisper meant so much to him and he didn’t want to ruin the guy. Firestrike was laying down in a nest in the warriors den just clouded in his thoughts before jumping when hearing pawsteps.

“Firestrike? Are you okay?” Windwhisper…

Firestrike looked up before taking a deep breath and shook his head no. “I’m scared… that… about us? Like… I’ve never loved someone as much as I love you and I’m so scared that I might mess it up! Like what if I made you sad or angry at me what if I’m not good enough with spending time with you what if I’m not a good dad one day if we ever decide to raise kittens I just-“ he was stopped when the tortie laid down beside him and began to groom his fur up.

“Hush… it’s okay Fire… don’t listen to those thoughts. You’re an amazing cat. I know I’m not the most expressive but… trust me. You’re a good cat you’re funny and understanding and even if you are a bit arrogant, you’re kind and… I know you’ll be a good father.” Windwhisper purred before curling his tail around the ruddy tom. Firestrike sighed before leaning into the touch… soft… maybe he was right.
