An ophyal is a canine animal, which lives in a forest environment. They are omnivores, and eat a diet of meat, balanced with some berries, fruit, and occasionally leaves and grasses. They are similar to huskies in size and build. Ophyals can have two types of tails - a tail similar to that of a wolf, which is more common, or a rare, fluffy, curled tail. They also grow a characteristic mane and forelock of thick, silky hair.
Ophyals have a habit of hoarding items, particularly jewellery.

How to Adopt~

Ophyals are a semi-open species. This means that anyone can adopt one. For now, you can get your first ophyal without having to enter a competition. 100 ophyals will be up for grabs through a unique 'ticket' system, and you can get one of these as your first ophyal.
Other ophyals will be up for adoption for anyone to try for, including owners, who can't send in tickets. Unique and rare ophyals will also go up for adoption.

The Ticket System~

If you don't have an ophyal, you can send in a ticket to get your very first ophyal! This is how it works:

1. When tickets are open, send a PM to Ralonica Thorondor, titled 'OPHYAL TICKET'
2. Fill out the form for your ticket, making sure you've done it right
3. Send the PM, and wait to get your first ophyal

• IMPORTANT •
Inspirational words must NOT be words heavily associated with other organisations, companies and sites, or books, movies and TV shows.

• Make sure you've got your ticket right! If you send in more than one incorrect ticket, you won't be allowed to send in any more.
• Each user is only allowed to have one ticket ophyal.
• The ticket title must be in capitals or I'll lose the ticket.
• Once your ticket ophyal is made, you can decide the gender.
• You cannot chose what artist does your ophyal. Unless you use studs, the ticket ophyal will be completely random - also, the inspirational word is just that - inspirational. It is a way for the artists to get inspired on how do do your ticket. It is the artist's choice on how they design it - remember, this is not a custom. So don't get upset if the design is not what you imagined.
• If you don't like your ticket ophyal, you can gift / adopt it away. However, if you do this, you won't be able to get another ticket.

100 ticket ophyals will be made. Then the system will be reviewed.

Studs~

Studs are the currency of this species - a 'loyalty point' system. You earn studs through different events within the species, and you can spend them to personalise your ophyal, or use them to decide certain characteristics for ticket ophyals.

• Don't ask to be part of the staff, or ask for a custom ophyal

• No trying to trick the ticket or stud system. You will be caught
• You must have made more than 100 posts to adopt

Why you want an ophyal;; I absolutely love adoptables and art! From what I could see of the ophyal's outline, I was drawn in immediately. I'm also very interested to see how they actually look, not just their silhouette, so there's a lot of the mystery aspect too.
