Aww, he's such a cutie! I adore that his markings are fairly simple for a munchkin, usually munchkins are a bit busy for my tastes.

Have you found the smoothing tool? I think it could really help you make the edges in your designs smoother. It should be in the same options as pen sizes and opacity. I usually have it way up at 70-90 depending on the day, but that's mostly due to the fact that I use trackpad.

Also, don't be afraid to use multiple layers and lock alpha! It avoids any unwanted smearing when blending.
