Jonathan works as a guidance counselor for the local school. He’s an easygoing guy and a good listener, making him good at mediating disputes and working out problems with students. He’s well liked by a large portion of the kids at the school, who see him as actually pretty easy to talk to; his friends outside of work also love and appreciate the way Jonathan is always willing to listen.

Jonathan loves cute animals- cats and dogs alike. He’s that one friend who, if you were to have him over, would immediately start fawning over how cute your pets are. If forced to pick cats or dogs, though, dogs would win out by a slim margin. Jonathan has one dog of his own, a mutt named Paxton.

What does Jonathan do when he’s not working? His main pastime is running- he values physical fitness and the fact that it’s an activity he can do along with his dog- Paxton loves going along with him. Running is an integral part of Jonathan’s daily routine; he gets out for a run as much as five or six times a week. His friends think he’s somewhat crazy for enjoying it, but Jonathan has noticed that they’re never laughing when they cheer him in at the end of a road race.

Another quirk of Jonathan’s is that he’s left-handed. He always finds it amusing when someone asks him, “Whoa, are you left-handed?” One drawback of this, though, is that when he writes, the side of his paw drags across the paper, smudging the ink or pencil marks and staining his paw in a phenomenon that Jonathan likes to refer to as the “curse of the lefty.”

Jonathan is a hopeless romantic: he dreams of finding “The One” someday. It’s rather easy for Jonathan to get fleeting crushes as well; while he knows he hasn’t found “The One” yet, but he continues to hope... he knows that love isn’t an easy thing, but Jonathan does believe that it’s a beautiful one, and looks forward to the day when he eventually does find his soulmate.

Ever since learning about Highland Cattle, Nyaniso has always thought it would be great fun to try styling their hair. He dreams of being able to add a Highland to his life one day. Imagining showing off his stylish bovine friend fills his heart with excitement.
