Far, far away from every planet is a floating, gigantic library that holds all the information and secrets of the universe.
A place where people come to gain knowledge or, sometimes, to escape reality for a while.
A library where the corridors seem endless, books for every theme and taste, and most importantly, cozy places where everyone can relax and read in peace and quiet.

But.. there's not just visitors inside that library. Creatures roam around those books.. hungry. Talebuggos are caterpillar/worm like creatures that wiggle their ways around the endless books, endless food. A paradise for them, a feast!

These creatures LOVE to munch on these books, but unlike normal bookworms that everyone is used to, these guys have something special. Something special and magical happens when they eat an incredibly yummy book that satisfies their tastebuds, they transform.

TaleBuggos transform into a better version of themselves, and their appearance transforms depending on the tales/theme of the books. These guys do not have a lifespawn, they eat and eat until they transform.

Once transformed, their hunger ends and they just hang around the library. Some are even adopted and kept as pets. A full adult TaleBuggo is around the size of a coca cola 1L waterbottle, long and short. Babies however, are size of a human hand. Sizes might vary in special cases.

Welcome to the world of OMNI'S!

What is an Omni? An Omni is a magical creature found within a run down smog-infested city. They are very social creatures and form bonds like that of Coyotes.

Omnis inhabit a world that has since been shattered, Omnis are located on a large chunk of the world that stays suspended due to magic. As you could have guessed, Omnis are also incredibly magical creatures. They contain an orb on their chest that signifies typically what type of magic they hold. There are different tribes of Omni that band together, however the biggest difference between all tribes is the types of elements they wield. For example, White = Ice/snow, Green = Earth/Grass. Examples of magic can be found here.

The catshee are fairy cats from the fey realm of Avalon, travelling to ours (and many others) throughout the times. While some of these cats live very normal, catlike lives, others live the lives of adventurers, travelling the world and learning its secrets!
❧ ❧ ❧ All catshee have two things in common: a Calling, which is the path they choose to take in their life, whether that be stealing or healing; and a Touchstone, a trinket of some sort that they are magically bonded to that is an extension of their self and personality, but is also something that grounds them, both to our world, and to Avalon.

Catshee: CoA is a UMA centered around character building and storytelling. We welcome casual collectors and people who just like cute cats, but we encourage you to build lore and stories around your catshee. Community activities such as adventuring, nesting, and certain events will have ARPG─art and writing─elements, with rewards such as character EXP and badges, as well as in-game items and customs!


Adventuring is now open, with options for role-play for those interested. Writers will help you build character and tell stories, through journeys and tribulations alike. It's available for both owners and non-owners!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to AltGen Labs! I'm Dr. Lane, current CEO and head scientist.

Here in our laboratories, we work with numerous unique species that our scientists can adopt as pets or take in as help for their research, as assistants or companions. And of course, we're always welcoming new scientists here.
You can get started in or CO-OP Archive, and you have a little introduction, instructions for joining and FQA in our oficial site HERE.

You can Investigate and explore unique worlds, adopt animals, level them up, breed them, and complete challenges and quests.

Continuously, new portals to unknown worlds will be built and new species with unique characteristics will be created, thanks to the work of our dimensional engineers and geneticists.

Design and create your own personal laboratory where you can research whatever you want, cooperate with other scientists and of course, have a space for all your pets and care for them.

This is a completely new version of the old ARPG from AltGen Labs. If you were part of the previous version you can contact me or fill out a form on the AGL main page and recover your inventory, currency and creatures.

Nistas are small anthromorphic creatures who love to dress-up! Users can recolor and apply items to their Nistas themselves, but you can also visit the Shopping District to have dress-ups to be done for you :D

In the future, we also hope to have MYO clothing, where you can create custom clothing for yourself, as well as fleshing out the rest of the Shopping District and adding more item packs :D

Pocket Myths are 64px pixel collectibles vaguely based upon various mythological creatures that you can breed, trade, collect, 'battle' with other users, explore the world of the Mythirealm, customize, and decorate- almost an endless sea of opportunity!

Pocket Myths is run a little different than most UMA's - but perhaps this will appeal to you!

• Easy to get started- free adopts are always available to newbies! Just check out Froginald's New Questkeeper fund here. Or if you want to tough it out, explores are always open to users without any adventurers.
• Unique Breeding System - with no need to wait for slots to open for artists, no limit on how many times you can breed a myth, and just a simple personal limit of one breeding a day - you can progress as much as you want as long as you have a heart locket!
• This is very helpful as there is over 100 different hybrid species you could breed for- the only limitation is your preferences! Every pairing of base species produces hybrids- giving a wide range of possibilities.
• Complex gene and marking system- every Myth has their unique genetic information and color information saved in a database to make sure that pairings are consistent to these rules- but also allow for things such as mutation genes to show up in a lineage based upon the parent's species! And if you're tired of the same old outcomes from a pair but like the markings, there are various items to adjust the colors of their results!
• Simple but complex explore system- we track everything you do in our own personal database to make your life just a little easier! All you need to provide to us is the names of what adventurers you are sending out and where- no need to track their levels, experience, past explores, or anything!

• Quick apparel applications and previews- we've made it so that in the back-end all images are standardized and ready to apply at a moment's notice, so no need to wait to do any image editing yourself! You can expect your applications to get back to you within 24-48 hours
• No need for a Co-op archive unless you feel the desire to! Since I have a full inventory system that I maintain, I can send you screenshots of your inventory whenever you like if you get lost.
• Everything essential to the game is kept on the CS forums- no discord exclusive anything!
• Collectible monster sprites that you can earn for just playing- they don't do anything yet but give you ample world building potential.
• Tired of how that one adventurer you have looks and want to change them up beyond just apparel? You can edit their colors through prism stones and dyes, remove their species tag and watermark with the magic eraser, animate their art with the singing crystal, add new genes through scrolls, change their species to whatever you desire through magic mirrors, or turn them into the recycler for some crunchy leavesand use those to purchase an entirely new adventurer!

meet our little mascot, mimi!

an imptero (imp + ptero!!) is a small canid like critter with a little bit of a batlike quality mixed in (spotted in their wings and excellent night vision, as well as making as many bat squeaks and echolocation noises alongside their happy yips and barks!)

Due to this, they can vary in many aspects of shapes, traits, and other features, but tend to be within the size range of a large fruit bat to a small puppy!! their fur is also incredibly soft, especially around the neck and tummy, but from belly rubs to headpats they don't mind as long as it's some form of gentle care/play...!

it is unknown how impteros came to be exactly, the leading theory is that they're a little experiment from the fae gone rogue, but they just seem happy to be here and ready to make friends wherever they go! with so many to meet of all different shapes and sizes, maybe therell be an imptero that wants to come home with you!

Lil Bats are adoptable vampire bats! They fly around at night looking for a new owner to take care of them! They are small, cute, fluffy and have big ears to listen to all your babbles! They are great cuddlers too!
