Welcome to the artist search! We are seeking active, creative members who can apply
realistic cat coats to this base. Guest artists are hired 1-2 at a time, for one calendar
month. When a permanent artist position opens, all previous guest artists are eligible
to be considered for the role. Guest artists are given a 1UC MYO upon guest hire.

and fill out the form there for each entry!

Please keep these rules in mind when entering the artist search:

- Artist search entries cannot have edits above uncommon. Guest artist adopts are limited to uncommon and below edits, and most of your adopts will be just common. As such, we encourage you to focus on showing off your coat design skills rather than major line edits!
- Do not remove the fake sign or bluex's signature.
- You must make a minimum of 3 entries to be considered for hire.
- New! You may make a maximum of 4 entries a month. This has been lowered to encourage focus on quality over quantity.
- Please follow the guidelines in the coat guide and those written on the edits list.
- Please link to all previous entries!

Q: May I claim an artist search entry as a MYO?
A: Yes, but only if the artist is okay with you claiming the entry! Once you've gotten permission, make sure you have the right myo ticket and edit items to claim the cat! You'll need to be added to the drawing to create a new, colored-in version of the cat, without the fake sign. As soon as the new version is posted, please report the topic or submit a help ticket requesting that it be moved under the Stars MYO page.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that artist search entries have edits and/or coats labeled accurately, nor that their design is Stars-legal. Your cat may need edits before being approved.

Q: Someone wants to claim my artist search entry. What do I do?
A: If for any reason you don't want your entry claimed, that's perfectly alright! If you are okay with the cat being claimed, make sure that the user has the necessary myo ticket and edit items to claim the cat, then add them to the drawing so they can make a new, colored-in version.

Please note that your entry may need to be edited before being approved; if you're not okay with the design being edited by someone else, please reach out to myself or I Like Bees and we can let you know if the cat will need any changes made.

Q: I wasn't chosen as a GA this month. May I continue to try out?
A: Yes, of course! We can only handle 1-2 GAs each month, and so we can't bring everyone we'd like to have as a GA in every month. Continuing to submit artist search entries is also a great way to improve your coats/edits and increase your chance of being hired in the future ^^

Q: I've been hired as a GA before. May I continue to try out?
A: Yes, please do! We often bring previous GAs in for another month if they still show interest via the artist search. Additionally, this shows us that you're still interested in potentially being brought back to transition into a full artist!
