I'm definitely not qualified to give a redline, but I can at least give you some resources as someone who's learning how to draw humans too:
-
Manga Materials. These are a bunch of anatomy tips/tutorials with some really good explanations.
-
Etherington Brothers Their tutorials actually cover a broad range of topics and not just human anatomy, but the tutorials are too good to not share.
-
Pureref. This is an amazing free program I use for managing references. (to download for free, pick custom amount and enter a 0). This program has just helped me out so much, it's so nice to have an always-on-top window to put my references in, and you can just copy/paste pics from the internet, so no need to save anything. It makes doing studies and using references really easy. Something else that's nice is that you can create and save reference boards, I use this to save references of specific characters so I don't have to keep hunting down pictures of them on Google and stuff every time I draw them.
-
Magicposer. A pretty nice program for posing 3D figures. There's a lite browser version too. Not really much else to say lol
-
Proko is a YT channel with some really good art resources.
Hope this was helpful! I definitely understand that feel of human art being baffling, haha.
