WOW okay so first of all, the timer doesn't lie, i really am unfortunately that slow of a worker

but hey! i've been on cs for coming up on 10 years next november (originally joined in 09), and i haven't once drawn avian. which, personally, feels like a crime! this girl is such a welcoming familiar face, and i've adored her design from day one. it's not the most over the top drawing, but it's a small gift of a gal whose face has remained in my heart for a long time!

don't look too close or you'll spot sloppy coloring/shading jobs. i kept finding them but couldn't find the motivation to do anything but hurry up and finish this piece x)

IM SO GLAD I COULD DO HER JUSTICE, she seems like a big smiley lovey girl and i'm a sucker for that. i appreciate the compliments on the lighting, too! it was something i struggled to get satisfactory (in my own eyes)

ah i guess it's just not as good as what i'm used to in my art x) we artists are our own worst critics, aren't we? i can guarantee you your art is great, and with time and practice you'll really surprise yourself with how far you'll go! i know i certainly have made my younger self flabbergasted. think back on older art pieces you've made, and consider how the artist you were then would feel about art you've recently made! they would be surprised, right? you'll never stop ceasing to surprise your former self with your new and improved art, i guarantee you. i'm still doing it myself!
