Being Followed Home.
In a winter, Crystallized,
the snowflakes shimmered in her eyes,
she stepped into the night so clear
and no sirens warned danger near.
Close behind her, shadows flicked,
Clydesdales' hooves begun to click.
She hopped into the carriage seat,
"To the Mountain" her pale lips leaked.
Click, click, click, the hooves clicked on,
she listened close, stifling yawns.
It's just too late for things like these,
for walks among the mountain trees,
but he'd insisted, so she'd agreed,
and here she was, Xitwa sneezed.
Here she was, catching a cold,
just for someone appearing bold.
"Finally!" He stretched his arms,
She walked to him, repelled his charms.
"I wasn't sure if you would come,"
He said softly, "Thank you, my love."
"Let's get on this 'moonlight walk'
I need some sleep, it's twelve o'clock."
He pulled Xitwa between the trees
and kissed her beneath the city that sings.
"Now that's enough! This is no date!"
She scoffed and pushed the jerk away.
"Oh, come on, love, you came for me!
I told you I'd kiss you romantically,
and here I am, just keeping my word,
you stop yelling! You won't be heard!"
Xitwa's eyes widened, she started to run,
towards her home, she wished for sun.
She panted, locking her big oak door,
"They don't make doors like these no more!"
He shouted from the other side,
she went farther, begun to hide.
When the door broke down, he looked around,
but could find nothing; no breathing sound.
She held her mouth closed, under the bed,
she knew if she cried then she'd surely be dead.
"Knock knock, little Piggy, let me come in!"
She could practically hear his evil grin.
Oh, what had she thought, she scolded herself,
she should have known better than risking her health!
And now it was bad, with her life on the line,
tears streamed down her face, but not even a sigh.
"She must have climbed out of a window" he growled,
"I swear, I'll stakeout, I'll get her somehow."
He left, but she stayed, frozen with fear,
she finally slept, and he never neared.
The police got him out of her yard the next day,
he'd been drunk and was jailed for seventeen days.
While he was locked up, she collected her things,
and got the heck out of the city that sings!
And looking around for a place to live,
this wintry cabin gave room to forgive.
She'd found the ability to feel joy again,
after a time in that little cabin.
Xitwa now smiles as snowflakes fall down,
allowing her sorrows to finally drown,
and here she feels like she's really at home,
here she knows she can be truly alone.
Happily joyous, she still slightly hollowed,
and painful her fear is of being followed.

468 words, I would take it further but there's really nowhere to go from there with a poem like that xD)
