Winterpaw | Open

Winterpaw sat in the camp feeling the warmth of the morning sun on her pelt. She sat there, watching her clanmates as they were waking. Winterpaw herself had woken a bit earlier than she normally would have today but that wouldn't stop her from working as hard as she could in training.

Cherrypaw flicked her tail, hiding the fact that she thought even if she ate lightly, she'd still be as slow as an elder. "Oh, okay. What're we doing today?"

"It's a surprise," Icefang purred at the apprentice's eagerness. "Go grab something and we can head out." She went back to nibbling on her own breakfast, thinking about what they were going to do today.

Jaypaw sat in the sunlight, eating a mouse. His fluffy tail was wrapped around his paws as he looked around camp, wondering where his mentor was.

Greyflower was fast asleep, lying in her nest. She felt the sunlight streaming onto her pelt, however the warrior did not wake up.

Thrushheart was out hunting. He was an early bird, and always hunted in the mornings. So far he'd collected two mice and was stalking a blackbird.

Ravenpaw's thin tail twitched as he watched the camp. He knew his mentor was out hunting, and he was bored.

Brokenflight was lying in her nest, head resting on her paws which were on the side of the moss. Her twisted paw was aching, and she knew she'd have to go get some herbs.

Cherrypaw nodded and made a beeline for the freshkill pile, wishing she could eat that nice looking rabbit or that fat thrush. She chose a slightly scrawny mouse and sat back beside her mentor to eat it.

Birchbranch walked into the apprentice den, to wake up his apprentice, Rabbitpaw. "Time to wake up," he nudged the white tom with his paw.
