Staff Changes and Retirements

We have some staff retirements and changes to announce today to the community!

Sixbane joined the artist team in 2020 and has made countless designs over the past few years. We were so glad to discover their art when we opened up artist applications and instantly knew we had made the right choice hiring them when we saw the amazing designs they created. Recently they've had less time for CS and decided it was time to step down as an artist.

Koikee also joined the team in 2020 but initially as an Oekaki Mod. Later on they switched to an Official Artist role and thrived making many litters and event pets over the years. Personally, it's been amazing to watch their growth as an artist from when they started to now. It would be a shame if I didn't mention that Koikee left a lasting mark on the site by creating our beloved otter lines. Sadly, they've made the decision that it was the right time to retire for now!

xem is our third staff member on this list who joined in 2020! He has been one of our most active oekaki mods over the past few years. Commitments in his offline life have been keeping xem away from the site so he is retiring his role!

rheia joined the RP Mod team in 2021. Ever since she has been an active presence on the team helping keep the rp boards in order. She also helped out with or social media accounts. Real life take priority though and recently she hasn't had as much time to mod, so she is stepping away from her role!

Please join me in thanking these four for all their hard work and help! <3

And finally we have a staff change to announce!

Lacuna will be returning to her OG roots as a Roleplay Moderator! Lacuna has been an invaluable part of the team in her various roles including her most recent role as an AA! Given the recent RP Mod retirement, she decided this was a good opportunity to switch back to helping with the RP boards. Fun fact, over the last few years Lacuna has helped with writing and planning out our Summer Events!

Let's all wish her luck in this new/familiar role!

And it'll be so weird not seeing you in red, Lacuna! I love the stories you've written for summer events! I don't hang around the RP forums but I'm sure the RP community is happy to have you back!
