What if we had cats and dogs based on a concept like this? I can see this being cool on Halloween,
they melt and just a creepy skeleton is left of them

Bringing this up again because Halloween is comming soon! :D In that regard I would also like to see more different furless dogs or even ghoul dogs. Oh, or ones based on the slightly lesser known mythological beings like Wendigos, or the axe head hound?

Haven't seen any pets based off of starfish?
There are some really pretty ones.
I'd love to either see their colors/designs on the pets, or have the actual starfish drooped over the back, as if the pet itself is a rock, and the starfish is laying on it. :3

Oh, oh! And maybe we could have rockpool pets. Like, they're stone with a hole in their backs with water in. And maybe seaweed hair?

This gave me an idea. So, on the dogs side would be a 'hole' filled with water and different tidepool creatures. And then there could be one with some starfish with missing limbs, to represent starfish wasting disease?

are the old guinea pigs going to be re-drawn using the new lines? I would like them so much more if they were. I don't care for the old lines. They look like blobs/weird hamsters.

How about pets that look like metals? We could have gold, silver, platinum, bronze, aluminium, and steel.

Yes, and I really wish they would look like these pups - and stay this way as adults.

I would die for a Mining event! I know we already had the Egyptian one, but it was more story/history-based.
And since we don't have a lot of actual fossil/gem based pets, it seems like a good way to get them.
And there are just so many different kinds of minerals...The options are limitless!
There could be several different caves/grounds for each kind of digging.
1. Gems
2. Precious metals
3. Fossils
4. Other - Meteorites, pieces of the moon, sun, or other planets?

Such as a game controller horse or lion, 8-bit pet with thick black lineart and that old green game screen colour maybe a plug n play controller chicken?
