what is wrong with me, my job is easy, so insanely easy but I can't go. why.

i just learned one of my favorite highschool teachers got diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer
it's so scary that this disease is everywhere
thankfully i'm not personally affected but even just hearing about it paralyzes me mentally

i had to euthanize my cat this morning. she had lung cancer and was getting worse every day. i’m so incredibly heartbroken and the sadness i’m feeling is unlike anything i’ve ever felt before. my apartment feels so empty now bc it was just her and i. i don’t know how i’m going to get through this
