The way they just do it is a way of greed.

Okay hold on a sec... Get into the perspective of a wolf hunter or any pest hunter for that matter, overpopulation = starving = animals trying to find easy ways to get food. Happens with any species. Does that mean we should let them kill our livestock or overpopulate and starve instead of controlling the population so it does not get out of hand? It is not greed, we do it to so that the species will not have to suffer from the effects of overpopulation, and to protect our livestock. If a hunter shoots a coyote who had been eating his prized chickens, does that make him greedy? It tends to be just the same with wolves.

Now I'm not talking about those who hunt just for the sake of a trophy, I'm bothered by them as well, but I've come here to say that not all wolf hunters are bad people and please do not get that impression. All I heard was the word wolf and got worried that y'all would bash us hunters as some tend to do ^^;

On the exotic pets: yup. I think everyone can agree on that. Even if you do have a license and proper housing the animal still won't be too happy and there are just too many things that could go wrong :c
But please include wild caught birds and fish. Nobody seems to mind that tropical fish are taken from large areas and subjected to small cramped tanks, and that many wild caught fish and birds are stressed to death ;3;

Wolf hunting isn't abuse.

Anyway though, theres absolutely nothing wrong with having "wild animals" in captivity as long as you're taking care of them.

A circus with animals such as tigers and elephants don't exisist anymore and are pretty much illegal. Its perfectly fine to hunt an animal as long as you have a hunting license and your hunting legally. And can you use proper English when you type?

Uh... Circuses with wild animals are still perfectly legal in the US (and Canada?). Ringling Bros and Shriner's are two I know of for sure that still use wild animals. I'm pretty sure they are still legal in several other countries as well. I'm not saying it's right but, yes, they do still exist.

I wonder how many people that say "no wild animals as pets" ever keep small frogs or fish other than guppies and goldfish.
"wild animals do not belong in captivity, but I love Hermit crabs"

just a thought

those are poachers. when Kendal Jones shot her elephant, that animal was marked for death (either was to old to produse good offspring or was a nusiance animal) The meat got donated to the locals.

There has got to be a kind way to teach non domestic animals unessesary tricks. is there? and not doing tricks out of fear and pain.
and maybe one has to get them hooked on something, wild animals have to travle for sustance. in captivity they can have it given to them. maybe we just need to give them TV and video games approperate for elephants. but the reform nessesary for captive elephants sounds impossible. they grow and breed so slowly like the whale.

There is a way to teach all animals, domestic or captive wild animals, tricks. It's called positive reinforcement. Which most zoos already use and Ringling Brothers, at least, claims to use it as well. Because trying to bully an elephant or tiger into doing what you want them to doesn't exactly work out well in the end.

That makes like zero sense.
