while it's good to see this thread active again, I don't have much time for GO nowadays. I'm pretty much working every waking moment and I need to take time to clear out my box, which is completely full of Pokemon (850 last I checked).

I'm still stuck on the celebi quest because of the lack of time, so that's nice

Stuff about me: I grew up obsessed with Pokemon but am still relatively to Go, only started playing in October last year when I finally got a phone that could run it. But I've been totally maybe a teensy bit addicted ever since! As expected, haha. I was able to finish the Mew quest back in February, which I feel super accomplished about, but I'm still stuck in the middle of the Celebi and Meltan ones. ^^' Oh, and I tried my first raid recently, too, and caught a Shinx. c:

Dama - I know the pain of missing ex raid only a few hours... Once, I got out of work earlier to be in time... It was crazy, but I really wanted that Mewtwo. And yes, I am sure you we all will have more opportunities. They will probably put Deoxys in normal raids, like they did with Mewtwo. c:

Shuyler, I don't think there's any need to hurry with your quests. I rushed Mew quest and then I didn't have anything to do, with Celebi and other quests I just enjoyed them and it was much better. ^^

Also on the Chicago Go Fest page, they mention another special research, so I bet one will be dropped in Chicago like it happened last year with Celebi. I'm betting Jirachi.

Yeah ... I'm just a naturally impatient person and I want my Meltan nooooow, haha. It's so adorable. xD I'm actually on the last step for that one, just need to get my hands on 2 Omanyte/Kabuto somehow. Luckily the bug event going on right now let me grab the Anoriths I needed! c:

With Celebi I'm pretty firmly stuck at the "Trade a Pokemon" part because I don't know anyone in person who plays, so we'll just have to see if I get anywhere with that. ^^' I've been trying to persuade my brother to start his game but haven't had much luck so far (he's downloaded the app but as far as I know hasn't actually opened it yet. He's the one who got me into Pokemon as a kid, but I think he's kind of lost interest over the years.) Thankfully I'm not as interested in Celebi, though, so it won't bother me too much if I don't finish the quest anytime soon.


On the topic of Community Days, I'm looking forward to finally evolving Bagon and hope they'll get through the rest of the starters before long. My Combusken and Monferno are just waiting to be evolved for the special move, and my Marshtomp and Prinplup, too, once they get some more candy. :D

I really hope these quests don't expire any time soon hhh
and for the meltan task I'm stuck on evolving magnemite, which is super annoying since they used to be very common in my area, but obviously I didn't save up any of their candies. So now I've been stuck at 15/50 ever since I got this task and I dont think I've even seen a single magnemite in the last few months.

I'm kinda intrigued by the whole egg-pool shakeup thing, since maybe now I'll finally get Riolu, but I know with my luck I will end up with more Smoochum's than I ever needed. Shiny Buneary / Lopunny is to die for though ;o;
