They're not legit?
Meh. That's fine. A handful of mine actually aren't legit, but I do have quite a few legit as well.

For example, I was farming Spinda's(because supposedly no two look the same), and caught a shiny one during that time period. I also have a shiny Pachirisu on my...Pearl? Or Diamond.

The only one that could be 100% legal is the arceus. Since it's still shiny locked in all the games it's in. But the rest can be legal. I have bred a shiny furfou and noivern myself. And a shiny Jarachi as been released in Japan. So they could have a legit Jarachi.

This is why I need to research the games more.
If they aren't legit, then I'd guess they came from PokeGen.

I've only gotten a few myself, a shiny palkia and diaga from events as wells as a shiny tentacool that's I can no longer find anywhere in one if my games, I'm suspicious that I left in in my poke ranch......

Ah actually the Arceus and Jirachi are from a Japan event they are legit

One time I was looking through my first pokemon game (soulsliver) and found a shiny Abra. I have no idea how my 8 year old self could have got it. Also for my birthday my dad got me a used pokemon diamond since we couldn't afford a used one, I started playing it and saw 70 shinies in the storage box! I was so happy
Those shinies are legit too because the area it says he got it from is were they are in the wild. He must have been very good at channing.

the only shiny pokemon i've ever encountered was a shiny ducklett in pokemon black 2. i caught it, but at the time i didn't really know what shiny pokemon were, therefore i didn't realize how rare it was. later that year, i deleted my save file to start a new...
.. i'm sure you can imagine how much i regret doing that. :')
