Hello!!

I'm making this discussion to gather some opinions/experiences/feedback on some pets that have less than linear demand/worth in comparison to their year of release. Basically pets from more 'recent' years having higher worth than older pets. Obviously demand is all down to just that, demand! If more people want them the chances are they'll pay higher for them. However it can also be difficult to properly gauge the worth of these kinds of pets since they're not fully incorporated in lists etc

I'd like to make a database of sorts for these kinds of pets to hopefully streamline trades involving them :>

So, I have the following questions for everyone!:-

- What pets do you know like this?
- How much have you paid for these pets before? Or seen them go for?
- Do you have any examples of trading for these pets in more recent years? Please link if so!

[Note: I'm aware the VR + OMGSR Thread can show some trades, however if pets are Rare or below there isn't as much information]

I don't know if this sort of thread doesn't exist already, but I can't find one and I've wanted to post my own trade somewhere, but since I don't know the proper value in C$ or in Mas or Nons I was afraid my post will be deleted, so this is a nice idea.

It for sure is confusing, some pets' demand, I wasn't aware of the demand of said Cloud Castle Dog, but I was sure it skyrocketed since there was this big rarity update just recently, so I only was sure it wasn't worth only 1 2010 rare or 2, or even 1 VR, but I wasn't expecting the demand on it for sure! Just when I got it from the pound I got like 10 offers for it, so it was really overwhelming, but only two of them stood out, and it is sometimes just because someone really wants the pet

I've seen that the pet [if someone really wants it] can go up to 300 C$ or even more, I'm curious about the Fae Foxes since I know they're in demand and it's really hard to trade for even one sometimes!

in addition to the fae foxes and slumber party pets -- the space event pets seem really sought after.

i actually participated in the event back in the day and have some but i can't bring myself to trade them knowing their demand vs actual value T__T..

also, that one caterpillar puppy i often see listed as a dreamie despite it only being a normal rare, people also pick it from me in the 'steal pet from user above' game quite often (it is absolutely adorable)

A few more I've noticed recently is PPS lions in general. Especially these few:



I believe they're mostly event rares which could contribute a bit but their demand seems to have spiked a lot. All are post 2014 but go for more than an 'old rare' in my experience :>

i feel like pps butterfly wolves and horses are especially often seen as worth more--which is interesting because i know quite a few folks who dislike horses and bwolves.
when i had this one in an open group it was offered on like crazy

got lucky with the adopts uwu no trade

also these hummingbird bwolves

trade 1 (2013) trade 2 (2013) all the rest i was lucky w adopts but i am curious if other people have trades for these fellas.

I'm an older player so idk if my info is even helpful but ive certainly seen an uptick in demand for all the pets mentioned so far.

blk creep and cloud dog i got in the event but i was surprised to see how much their worth. Ive seen people hoard the cloud dog and its bunny counter-part.
fae foxes i either got in the event or did a 1 for 1 trade with folks.
lil dog cocoon i got in adopts but it also has crazy demand

- Started a 'master list' on the first / main post! Divided by years and added rarities

3 MA for the PPS cocoon is ACTUALLY bonkers to me. absolutely unreasonable overpay 😭 that's the equivalent of trading THIRTY 2010-era rares for a SINGLE 2014 VR...
