If you want to get free pets, many users have adoption centers and hold giveaways in the CS Free Adoptions Board

The General Helpers (the people with those pinkish usernames) have a place to get free pets specifically for new players here.

The CS trades board is where you can make a trade thread. It's basically a way of asking others for trades. Make sure to read the rules before making one.

The official CS Pound is where you can adopt a pet for free. The pound opens at random times every day, so I recommend setting a timer if you think you'll be around when it opens.
