I'm a little late but I'd still like to give my congratulations to all the new and promoted Staff Members ^^ I had a feeling the members were announced once I saw Seasonal's name tag was green instead of it's iconic red. A new chapter has opened for these lucky group of people, I'm excited to see how they'll manage their new roles. I'm sure they will all do wonderful <3

Ah Pitch, sad to see you leave your place as a Oekaki Moderator. I'm so used to seeing your purple username. Although we've never talked before you were an inspiration to me and the reason why I continued to play this game. When I first started out in 2013 I wasn't interested to much in this site. The Slumber Party was amazing, but I didn't really understand the whole concept of it. So I rarely collected any pets or items from it and thus lost an opportunity to see the line art of the pets and own my first rare. It wasn't until September when the Staff Pets were introduced that I really got sucked into the game.

As I was still knew I didn't really see the excitement over it. I thought it was just another set of dogs to adopt. However, with the Staff Pet's thread that came with it I soon caught on with the hype of guessing which Staff Member made which pet. Then I saw yours grow up shortly after. Although yours wasn't the first one to grow up for most people, it was for me. I thought it was the coolest thing ever happen to me. Your pet reminded me of my old dog Candy that I had for years. I sadly had to give her away as the place my family and I moved too didn't allow dogs. I didn't see her much afterwards but it definitely brought a smile to my face to have Candy once again, even if it was on a computer.

After that I really got into trading for the missing staff pets and others that interested me. Without your pet I wouldn't of had the chance to experience the Halloween Event and the long awaited Christmas Calendar. I would of lost all interest and found something else to occupy my time with. I'll greatly miss your Staff Pets. They may have been simple but sometimes not all pets need line edits to be great. The greatest pets are the ones that can make someone smile and possibly remember a good memory of their past. Just as your Staff Pet has done for me. And because of that, I want to give you my personal gratitude. Thank you PitchBlack for everything you have done for ChickenSmoothie and for me. You've inspired me more than you know and without you I wouldn't be still active today. Enjoy your retirement ^^ You deserve it. ~ Fox
