I changed up the poll to add the third option, didn't think it'd remove all of the votes </3 72 people voted "yes" up until this point and it made for 92ish% of votes total if I'm not mistaken!

I'll bump this so it's seen again! Also, having baked in the time since I last posted here, I think this would be really cool! I've realized that decorating cakes and cupcakes is really fun, even if you're not eating them (I made them all for friends LOL).

I'll edit the first post with all the bits and bobs that have been suggested here soon, but I just got an idea that I think is neat - maybe there could be a bigger contest held on every "round"/significant CSian anniversary? We already missed the 10 year mark lol but CS is about to have its sweet 16 in 2024, it'd be so cool to have a bigger competition to celebrate that ;w; If it leaves too little time to prepare, there's the upcoming 18th birthday in 2026 which means in a lot of countries worldwide CS would be legally allowed to buy adult substances /hj

Seeing as the new poll results are torn mostly between "bring back the cake contest" (9 votes) and "i want a different contest" (7), maybe it could be split into a couple categories - baking, writing and drawing sounds like the most obvious choice. Instead of/alongside money the "main" prizes could be custom pets/items like in the og cake contest, it sounds like a pompous enough occasion to give those away and personally I'd sell a limb for a chance to get one!

To add onto this, last year the CS Instagram page became active again, and ran a few mini raffles and stuff. I figured they would keep going with that, but it seems unfortunately that the account has been left to waste again and hasn’t been touched since October. I understand that the staff have busy lives, and if keeping the page running was simply more effort than it was worth I’d understand, but it is a shame really.

Anniversaries are a good time for contests. Still support! I would enter any competition. Even if it was like, record a CS song. I don't care I would try gosh dangit
