A short tutorial on how I shade hair. Not the best way, but a quick way of getting detail with doing it strand by strand.

As I said this is my version of hair shading, so if "squiggles" look natural then I guess it's okay.

But rounded squiggles aren't really very realistic, even if you factor in shading. Zig zags are okay, but neither method really looks natural.

My tutorials are a guide, not a "you must do it this way" thing. So do whatever you want.
