odesza is a creature of habit to put it simply. the most core, fundamental basic instincts that make us all come together and connect through our deepest emotions. they are feared by the gods and adored by the mortals, and yet they are neither. they are mystifying mystery that continues to dazzle and fade era after era. nobody knows their true nature, only that they dance across life and give a deeper meaning to everyone they touch. some say they bring blessings, others say curses, and some don't speak their name at all, for many will never come to know of their existence. they live and die by the breath of others. they come and go like the birds of season. they are poetic and enchanting as well as they are a living nightmare. they are life and they are death. any who meet them all have a different description of them. that they carry the feeling of butterflies of innocence you lost in childhood. that their eyes are an invitation to jump to your feet and dance. that they are nothing more than a boat beating over the frantic waves called purpose that try to drag you under. they are a whisper, a soft spoken promise, a betrayed heartache, a helpless fleeting moment in time. they are the drive of adventure that makes one chase the sunsets to dawn. they are the broken aching of a lost love, somewhere hidden between the lines of a sorrowful poem. they are everything that we know and feel. odesza is departure. the surest thing about them is that they will depart. that heartbreak won't last, those butterflies fluttering in your core will crash and die, that heightened sense of immortality that one has as a child will be blown out like a candle. the holidays will no longer hold such excitement as they once did, the friends you once knew will become strangers as life continues to carry on. they are life's biggest riddle, they are the purpose. they are the feelings you feel in your heart and soul. without them, you may as well not exist. odesza will never truly be known, their nature never pin-pointed and yet they will be sought after for as long as they exist. they will exist as long as we crave meaning, as long as we want to drink the sap of love, as long as we can't escape from the pools that pour out our eyes. they are the one chosen over and over and over again. despite the pain, despite the anger, the disappointment. for they bring the joy of a laugh, the spark of a smile, the warmth of a crush. they are everything and nothing all at once. they are something so tangible and yet no one has ever even be close enough to see them fully. odesza is the very aspect of life.
