Claire's happiest time was when her mate gave her this piece of jewelry for her mane. The jewels are significant because of the moment they were given to her. He finally breaks out of his shell and tells himself that he is good enough for her and that he deserves happiness even with his past.

Chai's happiest memory is from when he was a yearling. It was his first winter without his mother and his owner's could tell that he was a bit lonely as he was the only yearling on the farm and was still too small to be with the herd of 4 they owned without getting bullied by the older horses but too old to still be with his mother as she still produced milk as his family enjoyed Kumis.
One night his human's gathered in the barn with him, they brought out a table and chairs, all of their food and made a place for Chai at the table in front of his stall, they said Hamotzi and passed around their dishes of delicious smelling food. They even added food to Chai's plate, letting him test all the things they thought he may like before adding it as they did not want him not to enjoy his meal too. Chai was fascinated and over joyed by this act of kindness, having never seen his human's eat a meal before he found it odd how they used the shiny pokers and cutters to eat while he was accustomed to just eating something they had so much more that was needed before it went to their mouth.
Chai especially loved that the youngest of his human's, Sara, explained everything to him, to make sure that he felt included in everything that happened around the table outside his stall, she told him about their traditions, the utensils they used, what each food he was offered was, and how they thought he seemed lonely so she had suggested this little unusual dinner to make sure he knew he was never alone.
This moment is something that has always stuck with Chai, even now that he has been sold and lives in a different home, he has never forgotten that night he got to eat at the table and share that unique experience with his people, all thanks to his little human, Sara.
