This adopt is related to Husky #498. They cannot be bred together in the future. This will be a partner competition so you may only try out for 497 or 498!
It seems as though this husky and their sibling were recently put up for adoption. It seems as though their history is quiet the mystery, as not much is known where they came from..
To win this adopt, tell me this husky's history with their sibling from their point of view. Minimum word count is 100, maximum is 600!
ends on December 20th!

call name: Skell
gender: Male
age: 5 years old
harness color: Surprise me! Maybe something that compliments his brother's?
prompt:Since they'd started learning to swim, Llao had always been the better swimmer of the two. He took to swimming like a fish, but Skell? Well, Skell took to swimming like a stinkbug: poorly.
He had made some improvement with training and at least looked competent, but he paled in comparison to Llao. That was what made the fact that Llao was so stubborn so frustrating. The older-by-a-couple-minutes brother was doing his best to be the best, and yet his brother couldn't care less, despite being his superior (though Skell would never admit to that).
Skell had been sitting by the edge of the pool while their handler went to fetch something to drink when Llao approached. He'd always been the smaller of the two, which was why Skell felt so particularly stung by Llao being a better swimmer; up until that point, Skell had always been better when it came to physical activities.
So what if Skell had stretched at that exact moment? He had been in the pool and swimming; it wasn't his fault his body ached. It was Llao's bad luck that had led him to tripping over it and sailing straight into the deep end of the pool. His brother twisted in the water before resurfacing, howling and thrashing about...
...and calling the attention of every other dog there.
Skell had to act fast, grabbing his brother by the scruff and scrambling to ensure his paws didn't slip out from under him as he yanked Llao out of the water. A bit annoyed by everyone's attention, he began licking at his brother to try and warm him, hoping the comforting action would take everyone's eyes off of him.
It wasn't Skell's fault Llao had tumbled into the water; he'd still been swimming in the pool. He had just begun to get out when he heard his brother panicking. Maybe he'd tripped on air? He always had been clumsy; it was why he ought to just let Skell handle the showmanship. Or perhaps another dog had left their toy out? There were so many dogs training there, some were bound to be careless. He had any and every excuse ready and waiting, and at some point he began to believe it.
It didn't matter what the story was, just that he wasn't the one to blame for the end of Llao's swimming prospects.
