I have a friend that runs a betta rescue, and I adopted a little baby girl from them earlier this year. She has several 'defects' from being so inbred (as does happen in mass markets like chain petstores). The most prominent of which, is that she is missing an section of her head - her left side is indented like someone just carved a piece out of her face, and she has has a teeny tiny pinhole for an eye on that side. This art just reminds me so much of how creepy that pinhole looks when she's really angry about something..like me being slow with her daphnia treats xD
