sorry if this is lengthy i'm just trying to cover my bases lol
- RULES
- 1. credit my toyhouse account - SurgeFire - when putting designs offsite, please! people not logged in will not be able to access my profile from offsite if you credit me from here :">
2. if not claimed in 2 days, feel free to do what you want with the character. i will post on the characters i wish to claim. i will not claim them all. please don't assume just by making a character i'll make you one, i'd prefer to have characters i connect to. please don't harass me if i don't, or guilt-trip (like "oh nobody likes my art anyways") it just makes me highly uncomfortable
3. i can't draw or design humans/humanoids at a comfortable enough level to design them for others so i will not do them, i'm sorry. i'm also apprehensive against drawing anthros, so please also be accepting feral characters. also no characters from closed species.
4. i'm way better when there are specifics on what you want and don't want. likes and dislikes are fine, i just prefer that maybe you have sort of examples of the things you like and don't like if referring to themes!
5. it is okay to do off-oekaki submissions - but PLEASE but some sort of cover with a doodle of the sort. it WILL get locked if it's just writing on the cover, just a reminder of the rules to save both of us trouble. should your post be locked for any reason i will not make a character or take the one on the post.
6. please no headshots or halfbodies - only fullbodies, fully colored. i will do a fullbody in return
7. you are free to do multiple, but only one at a time- for example if you've made one and it's been one day please don't make another - or if i've accepted but haven't done one in return please don't make another, yknow
8. i have the right to change what i want about the design - and so do you with mine. i probably wouldn't make too drastic a change, and you will always be credited as the original creator of the design.
I may do claimed designs out of order, depends on my motivation at the moment; but I will not add the design - if claimed - to my toyhouse until I've finished my side!

anthros are cool too but less prioritized...
- characters with (feathered unless dragon) wings,
i find them fun to draw
- canines/felines are a safe bet, though
i don't mind other mammal species sometimes
- darker characters with bright or neon accents that are
one color
- characters to go in my feral cat world!
natural colored cats; semi-realistic colors and patterns
(no black-orange tortoiseshells/calicos tho i haven't found
out how to make them fit in fhjdghdfgh
other color torties/calicos are allowed though!)
i like foxes, too! they can also go in this world

- dragoonnss, please don't make them WOF-related though
just general dragons are pretty neat
- characters with horns (not antlers)
-soft/pastelly palettes (esp with white as an
accent)
- naturalistic colors with a bit of unnatural/contrasting colors?
- eye colors that go well with the design
- accessories are totally fine
- - hooved characters, i don't find them fun to draw
- *characters without eyes or with their eyes covered
- *muddy colors
- overly simple OR overly complicated designs
- entirely neon characters
- antlers, i find them difficult to draw
- plant growth on the body that isn't flowers
also feather growths in general are a bit iffy for me
- not a fan of reptilian designs
- pure black being used (like #000000 type beat)
- purple/green used as a main tone throughout with no other color
- clowncore/kidcore/any type of neon-heavy aesthetic
- extra legs
- ** character designs that could be considered offensive
to some cultures etc. think like headdresses.
