Dubhe had always been very closed off while growing up, preferring to stick to herself. She was dubbed as the lone wolf. In reality, she just did not know how to communicate well so tried to show it through her actions but that came off as aggression.

The first nox that truly tried to get to know her was a young trainee named Major, he was slightly younger than her, having just been made a trainee a few months prior but he did not treat her like the other nox did.

At first he would try to have a conversation with her, trying to get answers out of her but she often just ignored him. So, when he realised that she was listening despite the lack of answer, he would just talk to her, not expecting any answers. Eventually, Dubhe would give short one word answers then sentences in response.

Dubhe and Major just grew closer after this, becoming close friends and comrades in fights, relying in other to have their back because of the strong level of trust between the two.

This friendship slowly morphed into a romance, where Dubhe and Major decided that they did not want to be closer with anyone than they are with each other - so, they opted to becomes mates so they could spend the rest of their lives together without fear of being driven apart.
